This performance as I was subbing it really gave me a full realisation why Sayaka’s my favourite artist and performer. Someone that can bring so much happiness and positivity to others just by standing on that stage….she’s truly gifted and using it for good. Always proud of her. Thank you for everything Sayaka

That's really how I felt haha. She really performed this song with all her heart. Just look at her bright, precious smile, and how the audience and Team SY (her band) are just enjoying themselves and smiling along too. It's so infectious! If I ever needed a video to explain to people why I love JPop and Sayaka, this would definitely be one of the videos I would show them. Hahaha.

Yeah Team SY always look like they're having fun. They have really good chemistry with each other and with Sayaka.

 

She just tweeted that she's in New York! I wonder what kind of study she is doing.

Metrock Tokyo will be live broadcasted on AbemaTV on the 26th and 27th, plus on the 25th they will show a special interview with some of the artists (including Sayanee) and a little visit to Sayanee backstage at the Osaka concert. And on the 21st they're doing a rerun of her AbemaTV solo live from last year too.

Some people who went to JCI ASPAC opening ceremony said Sayanee spoke this in English just before she sang:
"For everyone to make each day better, I wish that you can live in happiness. I want to express my wish with these songs."

Sayaka was mentioned in the 2018 JCI Asia-Pacific Conference newsletter in Facebook today!

"Sayaka Yamamoto, a local brilliant singer dedicates her charismatic voice to JCI members"

You can also see a glimpse of Sayaka in one of the photos lol. Attending the open ceremony of the conference was also the Japanese Imperial Prince and Princess Akishino, and the Governor and Mayor of Kagoshima.

As the name of the conference suggests, there were delegates from many different countries present there, and that was probably why Sayaka had to give that short addressing speech in English.

I don't know how Sayaka even got invited to such a conference's opening ceremony, but probably through someone with NGO connections. Maybe her dad? Hahaha I don't know, just guessing
