Kitahara Rie (Kitarie) / AKB48 5th Generation

I contemplate on the motive of change rather than the change itself. The initial post above refer to Kitarie's adoption of NGT's pure and conservative outlook compared to AKB's libertarian precept.

 

Honestly when I saw Rie's costume for Music Station I was so confused but finally she said she was a kindergarten teacher lol I think her costume was cute even if it wasn't as cute or pretty as the others

Her lips have always been so DAAAAAAYUM *----* She really stands out a lot to me in the 0 to 1 promos. She has this spicyness to her that makes her look amazing every single time. So incredibly glad she got picked.

Can anyone tell me why Kitahara got so much publicity after she became NGT captain? They dropped her from senbatsu in 2013, then started promoting the heck out of her after she became captain. Not only did she return to senbatsu in the sousenkyo, but she returned to all the promos and senbatsu for other songs too.

 

I think the answer is obvious: because she's NGT Captain.

That Group is too young, and she in senbatsu help to put that group on mass public eyes.
and the reason why she return to all the promos and other song, heck, because she's return to Senbatsu on sosenkyo..

 

@Doodleboy you just responded your own question, and also - Rie (even in her two years ternure as an UG) has been always consistently popular as an AKB member and if the kennin/sister groups hadn't taken over so much, she would've been still a senbatsu member. She is relatively popular and had consistent jobs on shows, she only needed the Sousenkyo 'green light' to keep moving up. Also, considering she is still popular, has a lot to offer and AKB is mainly focusing on young members, it was pretty fair to send her to NGT.

Start all over, share and guide the members with her experiencies: she knows what is being a senbatsu, being also labeled as a New Generation ace back in the day and has been always responsible, trait that even no-fans of her recognize.

 

I'm actually really glad and a little surprised management is still putting her in AKB senbatsu even after ssk. I was expecting them not to care about her rank increase but I'm just really really happy they saw her worth and have brought her back!!!
