What the difference between oricon and billboard? Is oricon only count sales in japan and billboard not?

 

Well, it's nice to know that they reached more than 100K, oricon or not, at least not much of a difference from their first album.

 

Well, that's not going to make SKE48 #1 weekly on the Oricon. (>_<) (And AAA goes back to #1. Chase Elliott moment on Daytona 500...)

(Have to say Oricon because Billboard puts SKE48 #1 ahead of AAA by a few thousand: )

Do I have to reiterate concerns about what's going on with SKE48 recently (such as the high number of graduations that we've been seeing over the past recent years)?

 

Their previous album was released when SKE was still new. Their best selling single before the 1st album was released sold 592,947 (Kataomoi).

Their best selling single before this 2nd album was released sold 702,299 (coquettish). Slaying if this album managed to sell more than their first album, anything below their first album is just expected.

NMB's 2nd album sold 399,721.

Perhaps SKE's next single could only sell 30,000. At least not much of a difference than their first single.

 

I'm not sure if a 4 years old group can be called "new".

 

Uh...with all my respect but I think your logic is messed up a little. We don't compare the most recent single with the first one, but with the previous one. What's the point of comparing something from today with the same thing from 8 years ago ?

What this person compared was this album with the previous one, the fact that the previous one was the first album is just a coincidence that applies (wrongly) to your logic, because the method is the same.
Not to mention that comparing albums with singles is incorrect. The album's price is more than double and the promotions are different (in this case, album had fewer events compared to singles in general)

I'm a little bit messy with explanations but did you understand the way we compare the sales ?

 

Wait, in SKE's case, 1st and last album (album before this new one) are interchangeable since they only have two right?

I checked its first week sales, it was only a bit above 100K. This was back in 2012 when AKB, and probably SKE as well was at their peak.

So it does seem that the sales for this 2nd album is not really bad.

Their first album has no theater edition - normal release with no gimmicks for any event. And it's released on the same day as their 10th single.

To add up, Oyasumi(Good night) mousou with Pajama thing.

 

Looks like I got it right. SKE48 gets snubbed by AAA in that last day; SKE48 gets 100k but AAA gets 108k.

Probably one of the biggest surprises of the year at the moment. How in the world a 48 group doesn't get #1 - getting snubbed by AAA!?

Zero Base is the best song of the album!

 

I can only assume they're just wearing their pajama's/onesies for visuals sake. I think it would be the pajamas the girls would normally wear. I've seen the bird onesie plenty of times, as well as Nao's green and blue pjs.

To be honest, for me, I love all the songs. Especially NatsuIso, Horizon and Zero Base

 

It seems it says it's a throw back from a thing they did long time ago

Basically just videos of members saying "Good Morning" and "Good Night" to you

Just listen to all the songs and i must say, "Ai no Tame ni Nani wo Suteru?" is so DOPE really want to see live performance and the dance (and Nao slaying me)
P.S: I think its a joke that they coverd NMB song and KKS sang Chime wa LOVE SONG Aki-P must be so over SKE nowdays (with all the Keyaki hype)..
