    I like Aayan but I think she is pushed in a wrong direction. She showed a lot of potential when debuting with the "Boku wa Inai" performance and the bass-ass appearance in Boku Igai no Dareka. But then NMB just portrayed her as a cutie. AKB includes her and Hanachan as back row senbatsu members since forever. It makes her hard to stand out and easy to get back fire.

    Despite getting good reception inside NMB, she has not ranked for 2 years after getting push...

    She is in the wrong group. For SSK ranking.

    Otherwise Aayan is in a strong position inside NMB. She should do well for her group outside of SSK. And hopefully, she has lots of time to do it.;)

    NMB doesn't do well in general in the SSK. In 2016, Akarin ranked 77th in the election but was still one of NMB's top members at the time. We see where she is now, and with time, the same could happen to Aayan. But the point is a member can be popular without ranking in SSK.

    Had none of the 5th gen ranked at all, I would have said the same, until I realized that Jonishi's sister is also a 5th gen.
