Single AKB48 49th [#SukiNanda] (2017/08/30)

The SR PV has cute visuals I think, but I have to disagree with the statement that Rika gets the most screentime. I felt it was pretty evenly spread. It is a nice song, but not very memorable.

That being said, I like the single very much overall so even with those songs/PVs I ranked fairly low, I still like them.

 

I just realized this single is available for preorder on amazon us, for 19$ which is more expensive than buying it directly from japan but not by much.

I like all the songs, especially UG(I liked the cinematography) and Senbatsu(Old feel), UCG looks nice so I want to see the full MV since it seems like there's something missing. FG is nice but some parts it moves to fast and I can't focus too much on it. NG has a nice MV and song(I like the barcode, I want to know where they go with it). Showroom's is cute and I have to disagree with screen time(at first it seemed like it was mainly on Rika but then the dancing came out), it seems like it was pretty distributed, can't wait to see the rest of it!

 

The more I listen to FG song, the more I get the same vibes from Vampire Knight second season's opening theme. The song went from the bottom of my rank to my top lol. Maybe because during the first listen, I was too distracted by the MV visual

So yeah...this year ssk single is pretty solid.

 

I liked the hands choreography over the head in the chorus alluding a rooster crowing at 5:30 am.

Ogiyuka is in her element in this MV. Nearly all the NGT girls are too.

 

Private Summer is pretty good. Glad I've pre-ordered type D.

 

I really like the "Private Summer" (Showroom) song. It's cute that they tied-in Showroom because Rika & KomiHaru did well there. I actually saw it on Showroom (I'm a Level "10"? & I've won 3 Mascots even though I don't know what I'm doing - lol). Throwing the girls TeddyBears & Stars & those red Idol masks in 'reality' was a cute visual.

I saw a certain member on this Forum on there give an Idol "10 Ice Creams"- I don't know what these "gifts" are worth to the girl but they cost real Money. It's fun to watch sometimes.

I've TRIED to get into this New 49th song...it's not happening for me.

I am VERY Curious what the Sales numbers are - it will interesting to see if the rain-out & Upsets in Senbatsu have an effect on Morale & sales - given that they haven't released ANYTHING since early June. I haven't seen many (if ANY) links to TV shows where they performed the song...or did AKB stop doing that? It's 2 weeks away from release- where's the TV Hype for Japan's "Family Friendly" Idols?? AKI-P spent more time on THIS song than most in recent memory - Where's the Early Performances? Not mocking! I have in my archives at least 5-8 different Lives of most of AKB's songs from Festivals, YouTube Vids, TV specials, AKB shows, & Music programs - remember those days?

Or are they waiting for the Janken? I'm excited for Sakura-Sayanee-Yui Trio but I'm crushed Rika & Komi won't make it. This "new Janken" is Stupid- Just let girls compete & wear cute outfits.

 

OH MY GOSH! That was the most ADORABLE music video I have ever seen! SO CUTE! It's definitely very idol-like to me and I am biased, I really love cutesy stuff. The fact that they literally tied in SR was a cute concept. Overall, I think this one is going to take the win for me for best MV. Sorry I am so biased!

 

I am not too fond of bubblegum songs or visuals but it kinda works with the SR song.
My bias is going crazy yo.

 

Next Girls song is so... meh. I can't understand why Aki-P always puts NG songs behind (except KondoKoso Ecstacy, that song is the only one NG's good song or I can say that song is the best SSK singles' coupling song).

 

I think tsuki no kamen and sukinanda are the best songs on the single, the other ones are too forgettable for me

 

Ok, are they planning on promoting this on any tv show or what?

 

They might have a performance soon. Naachan posted a photo of her in the uniforms and in the background, there seems to be other girls wearing it too
