The SNH48 Thread

I was just looking around and noticed SNH48 has teams X and XII.

Why is that? Why the names X and XII?

 

The fourth generation is named Team X and the fifth generation is named XII.
The X stands for rookies, or Xinren 新人 or something of that sort.
The fifth generation is split into the A Team and the B Team; it is widely speculated that they will be the start of Guangzhou48 and Beijing48.

 

to be honest, compared to the other gens, Team XII aren't very good out of their usual stage songs. as soon as a special comes along, you can tell they either practiced less than other members, or they're not doing it the right way.

 

So there's this rumor that HII's new stage is gonna be Idol no Yoake. Wouldn't have been my first choice but why not.

 

B4 suits Team NII more but would be nice to see regardless of which team does it

This is so true considering how big of a team they are - there is no power vocal and no strong dancers either everyone is ranging from average to poor. I think compared to other gens they are overall good looking plus they have their young ages on their side but I don't think it's what SNH needed. These girls should've just become a sister group. XII is taking up unnecessary space in my opinion.

I looked quickly the songs of this stage, and it's a very good stage.
And the last three songs are good compared to SII stage, the number of viewer decreases by one third over last 3 songs, and costumes do nothing to improve it.


I prefer their christmas costumes at the special christmas stage

Yeah, that's what I think too. I'd love for HII to revive N3.

I'm usually one of those who think "the more girls, the better" but this time I have to agree, they should have debuted as sister groups.
About their performance level I agree that they are nowhere near the 4 other teams but they're young, they still have time to grow. Zhang HanXiao & Yan JiaoJun have good voices though. Far from CC or Kiku's level but cute voices anyway.

CC singing 流着泪微笑 ( Nakinagara Hohoende ) still remains one of my favourites.

 

I can't wait to see how CC will fare in that I Am a Singer competition. I expect great performances.
