今日の生誕祭。
Today’s birthday celebration.

改めて皆さんの温かさを感じました。
Once again I could feel everyone’s warmth.

ファンの方は推しのメンバーに似るって
よくメンバー内の言葉ででるんですけど
本当に似てるなって思います。
色々ね。
Among the members, we often say that
The fans resemble their oshimen,
And I really think we resemble each other.
In many things, you know.

私の誇りです。
You are my pride.

私は入った時から
私の事を好きになって下さる方より
私の事が嫌いな方の方が何倍も多い状況でした。
15歳の私の不甲斐なさに
離れていく方もいました。
Since I entered the group,
I had the circumstances of having countless more people hating me
Rather than people coming to like me.

Because of the disappointing 15-year-old me.

だからこそ、
こうして今も側にいて私の事を応援してくださる皆さんの事を

In the meanwhile I translated the write-up of Meru seitansai (letter, speech, ect)
It was quite heavy, but honest. I'm glad Ume was there for her.

 

I am so touched. I LOVE YOU TOO MERU!!!!!

I'm glad she is being so open. I feel like I connect so much more with her and I identify with her struggle. I also hope that she connects with a lot more fans this way so she gets more support. Even though she was worried that being open will lose fans, it just makes me a stronger fan.

 

Reading this definitely made me fall more in love with Meru...I can imagine how tough it must be for her. The 'Haruppi regaining the center position!' story is compelling, and Sakura/Haruppi is a great double center, but that narrative does come at the expense of MioMeru, I think especially Meru. But...at the same time I think not being center has been really good for her. She's gained so many dimensions of her character that I think would have been hard were she stuck under the pressure of being the perfect center all the time.

Good luck in 2016, Meru!! Your fans will be here for you

I saw Meru picture with Reina Tanaka (Lovendor, ex Morning Musume) on the tumbler. Anybody knows what is the occasion?

Meru became friends with Hoshino Minami of Nogizaka and she posted these adorable vids on her 755.




In case you're wondering about Meru's friendship with another Nogi member, Hori Miona, Bubka magazine recently requested that they want to do an interview Meru and Miona together. The magazine wants to know more about their friendship and how it started.

Glad that you liked the seitansai, I feel like it's (once again) the start of a new chapter for her.

Lots of Nogi-related stuff going on this week, with the joint thing they had at the Gum Rock thing and not much else apart from tour practice.

Starting with some mails with Minami. Miona wasn't there as she's not in the senbatsu for the latest Nogi single.

What was about Miona though, was that Bubka thing you linked! I tried translating it earlier today:



Sounded to me that it's being seriously considered! Well you never know lol.

Aside from that I found a photo of Meru in the documentary booklet(?) on twitter:

The thing here is of course (besides the cute photo), that the questions connected to the numbers aren't visible, but the answers are:
