Is this Techi?

Japanese comments I've seen say it is either Techi and Neru or, more likely, Techi and Sugai, with Neru "the Cameraman" taking the pictures. She has been taking more pictures over the past weeks, and calling herself that.

Wonderful pics -- aeshetically and technically -- and wonderful blog post. Neru thanks Takahiro, saying his teaching made dance fun and made her want to practice. Then she posts these pics and says (I think): "I want to run and shout. Being swallowed by the flow of time is awful." Japanese comments admire how youthful the feeling of the photos is.

 

Well I don't know a blog which translate her blogs and I cannot translate japanese. So I can only post the pictures

I read an interview on the latest BUBKA and there's a nice episode about Neru and Techiko. As Neru felt down, Techi went to meet her. Neru said her depression went away as soon as she saw Techiko face, and after that, the two listened to Ozaki Yutaka songs. In the interview, Neru revealed she liked Ozaki, especially "Forget-me-not", because her father had a live album of him.

From Neru's blog: "Two-shot with a Tanuki."



Critics say Neru is "tanuki-faced," which is to say she pretends to be nicer than she is. This shot was taken at the zoo during Neru's photo-shoot with Ex Taishuu magazine. Neru knows all and sees all, lol. (I know the thumbnail has been posted before, but I wanted to make the point.) Here's what a real Tanuki looks like:

This is on the set of the drama. The guy is the director. Not sure who that is under Mona. Neru says all the drama staff are nice people.



This next shot is from today's blog post. It was shot on Hokkaido, when they were there making the SekaAi MV. Neru says they were out gathering flowers to make a flower crown (remember her flower crown at the high-school quiz contest a year ago, before Keyakizaka?):

And this shot of Neru at Nagasaki seems destined to be a Neru classic. She has long said one of her ambitions was to be an ambassador for Nagasaki tourism.



There's a recent thread on 2channel asking which member has the best smile. I haven't counted, but it feels as if Neru has a slight lead right now. Mona and Techi seem to be coming next. I would have voted for Yone-san, but there are a lot of good choices.

Ooh that outfit Neru's wearing in the Nagasaki pic!! The boots are soo cute. They're made even cuter by the fact that they match with her umbrella

I'm all for her becoming a Nagasaki spokesperson so she can tell me where to go when I visit! My hairdresser (she's from Kagoshima) tells me it's her favorite place in all of Japan, but I've never been. 絶対に行きたい！

@JadeFlower -- Are you kidding me? That first pic from blt graph. Oh. my. goodness. Beauty, intelligence, power, feeling. Thank you so much for that pic and all the others.

I think this simple offshot from the blt graph shoot (from her blog) may also become a classic -- though at a lower level than that amazing first pic.

 

Well I think it's from blt graph. I guess we have to wait a bit but I'm constantly looking for her gravure scans. It's a but difficult cause she isn't that popular yet. Until now blt. are my favourites I'm in love with my profile pic hehe

I wish there was a larger picture of the interview section... I'd love to translate it but sometimes it's hard to make out the kanji if they're smooshed.

I meant the blt. graph interview, but I didn't see this one. Thank you for posting it! I found the other pages online as well. I'm halfway done translating it, so I'll probably post it tomorrow. It's a really great interview.

If you see the bit graph one floating online too, I'll do that one.

 

I finished translating Neru's Bubka interview, "Seventeen Map"! You can read it here.

It's a long interview, but I think it's a really good one. She came across as really honest in it, and I feel like I learned more about her.

Spoiler: I can't help but wonder...

I wonder if she that conflict within the group she was talking about was really about Imaizumi... just because she seems to have stronger solo ambitions than anyone else in the group.
