Foreshadowing?

Hopefully it happens this year. Ikuchan, Miona and a 3rd gen to center the 2017 singles.
(unlikely as Nanase will get 100% another one, which I am totally okay with, but a man can hope)

 

I kind of think Nanase and Maiyan are the permanent left and right flanks of the center position. Mayian has said in the past it's her preferred spot and I suspect Maiyan gets what Maiyan wants. The next time we see either of them center is probably the last time we see them in a Nogi song.

 

^I always thought of Nanamin and Maiyan as the flanks...Nanase just doesn't fit properly for me at the sides

 

Miona back at center position! That was amazing to watch.

I've been hoping she and Ikuchan get another turn at center.

I really love their New Year's costume, too. Although I don't think they'll be wearing these special constumes again anytime soon.=/

 

The Nanamin ship has sailed, although I get your point. It just seems like management wants to use the center position to either push younger members or as a reward for graduating members, buttressing the center position with the Nogi's two top dogs.

I'm truly curious to see who will be brought up to be permanent frontline when that happens. Ikuchan is also an uncertainty to some extent, but while she's in the group I think they might bring her in towards the centre. Asuka and Miona are others who might get the spots if Nogi continues rotating centres
