I saw that some of the girls (Under 17) can't post on twitter anymore (Because of a new twitter rule). Girls like Seina, Riochan and others are affected by this.
Twitter no longer has a minimum age requirement. This is must be some thing from management, or Japanese law.
Andriod? PC? Mobile browser? Other not official twitter apps? Why lock them out of Twitter when there are literally dozens of ways to use beside iOS Twitter app.........
They'd need an Android phone. They'd need a PC. They'd need to be slightly tech savvy, and then the non-tech savvy girls would be left out.
Like the G+ phones they have.... Well, except for Hiwatan. Some have. And all have easy access to one. To use the mobile browser? Give the girls some credit. Also there are Twitter apps in the iOS store that are not owned by Twitter, so not subject to the age requirement of their app. Management is keeping the girls off, not the app. Knee jerk reaction to the change in the app? Could be. And probably is. But it does not absolve them of the blame for this dumb move.
Just checked Andriod. 17+ as well. So that eliminates that option. Also means it is not regional. As my tablet is connected to a VPN server in Quebec.
The problem is not about using the app or not, it is about the content itself on twitter which is rated for 17+. So regardless of you can circumvent it using PC or browser, it is probably not legal for minor to use twitter. Of course most people don't care, but when they broke their curfew and management punished them for it, also all those time restriction related to age, they probably want to force all the members under 17 to not use twitter.

You mean the same "content" that can and does get posted to G+, SR, 755, ect. All of which these kids are still able to use........ This is a logical fallacy called a non-sequitur. It has nothing to do with a U17 person checking their twitter feed.
But the app is rated 17+. Regardless of whether they are just checking their twitter feed, they shouldn't use it in the first place if you want to strictly follow the rating. Look, I think they are overreacted to twitter app being rated 17+, but it is what it is. Management probably don't want to be seen as someone that allowing U17 girls using a 17+ app.
The app is 17+. The service is not. The two are not the same. The former is a method, one of many, to access and use the latter. Don't use the app, but let them use the service.
I think it's stupid that teenagers under 17 can't use Twitter. I see Facebook far more harmful than Twitter but even their minimum age is only 13+
