Too bad Sayaya isn't a captain though she deserves.

 

That would have been the better solution imo (All of them having Kennins is just ).

 

Very happy to see my favourite Team 4 and Team 8 members become captains of Teams K & A respectively and for Juri to return to Team B where IMO she rightly belongs.

 

New captains: Rinrin, Komiharu, Juri, Yuiri.

But what about Team 8? I see Rin is marked as Kennin but Team 8 girls are being distributed in the other 4 teams... it is not dissolving after all, is it?

I'm guessing just the name exists lol they would want them more to be in theater with their respective teams. So it's more like Team 8 Kennin than AKB Kennin.

My ramblings:

Agree that sister group kennins arent as impactful as they once wete.

Hopefully this will also push AKB members for singles, to strengthen their core.

Once again Tano is overlooked to be a captain. I wonder why...
So I guess this means no more co-captains?

Im also thinking they took Miichan out as K capn bc she'll be announcing graduation next.

If you listened until the end of the lineup announcements, the manager said that Team 8 will stay.

Sounds like AKS is preparing for a Team 8 disband

 

With Komi becoming Team K captain, Tomu is definetly the new Amina.

 

Sorry, I’m not watching the stage, so you would understand why I didn’t listen to the end of the lineup announcement ;;; I was actually headed to bed when I read about the shuffle and came here for more info...

It’s a relief, though, that Team 8 is not dissolving. It would be a disaster...

I've always wanted more Team 8 kennins with the SG included, but I guess having them all kennin-ed to AKB makes a bit more sense?

Also, is the whole 16th gen promoted?

 

Some of the 16th gen were promoted, some of them were bound to the teams as KKS.

 

For now. Team 8 can be disbanded tomorrow and every kennin would just become a regular team member.
