I think she lacks confidence, she's super stiff probably because she doesn't dare to be as laid back as the others are. She must think she will look ridiculous if she adds her own touch the choreography when it is actually what it needs because right now she looks like a broken doll.

I speak Spanish and have been following this ''basic'' show only for Annin.

So many years being a performer. She was in tokyo dome, always in senbatsu, she KNOWS more than anyone in that group, HOW to do this.

I have no idea what's her problem, omg.

 

I do know what's her problem. She has always been this cute, quiet, demure beauty and being sexy is totally outside her jurisdiction. I think she needs coaching to bring that up.

They didn't perform at beginning of Premios Juventud, but at the end of Premios Juventud Takeover which started at 7pm...

It has been so many years since I last watch these type of award shows. I know that normally there is something the hour before the actual show starts but I just remember it being things like backstage interviews, not having performances. I'm guessing this "PJ Takeover" was a pre-show to the award show. There was even a two hour countdown for this, from 4-6pm.

I'm truly sorry.

In my opinion, Iriyama was never the right girl to send. I never thought she could sing or dance. But she is the one that is there so I hope she relaxes and improves in everything she can.

In general the whole performance looked terrible to me.
Aside from Iriyama's bad lip-synch and her stiffness in the dance, the other members are terrible dancers! They can't synchronize this one dance which I think they have been practicing long before Iriyama arrived! I dislike reggeaton, so I naturally don't like this song. I think the wardrobe is horrific too. I don't know why they even started with sweaters if they were going to take them off at the start, they struggled and looked dumb.

Can we expect a big AKB concert for them to film in?
Watch Annin storyline be that she goes there and finds her true calling and joins AKB or something.

I sincerely dislike the song...
And the lackluster choreography, performance, and wardrobe don't help one bit...

 

This show is going to be a real test for the fandom. But for annin we must.

In her defence, she didn't close her mouth, she... just smiled!

 

I'm having a hard time recognizing Annin's performance level here.
She looks lost, and seems late in all her dance steps, + not on her playback (ok, foreign language, foreign environment, she doesn't looks at ease yet).
though, she's not known for spectacular performances, but she can do better than that.

 

It also doesn't help when everyone else in the group has no idea what they're doing.

On the side note, does anyone know if this type of performance level is normal for Mexico?

In my opinion, the choreography for Spanish speaking groups and solo artist is usually simple.

Here are videos of the 2 most popular groups of the 90s and early 2000s before RBD

Kabah was my favorite group back then, but without a question OV7 had better choreography
You can skip the songs Jam, Te necesito, and fantasmas, these don't have choreography

Side note: I don't really remember RBD having good choreography.

If comparing the performances of this group with other groups, then it's clear that they don't practice enough to make it look like one dance. They just remember a few parts and then just wing whatever they don't remember. This makes the group look terrible and really hard to like them.

In some of their rehearsal videos it looks like they put as little effort as possible.

I love the song, but the Live performances have made me sad.

 

That what happens when your country has 10 YEARS of mainstream music made just for "party hard" with no intentions of performances...
