Ngl, I actually liked that RYUSEI song after a few listen (I ended up searching for some EXILE songs lol).

This year's is a mess lol, I keep refreshing my timeline and there's always at least one account making a comment about Da Pump is robbed. Even the one congratulating Nogi also brings up Da Pump. Sony buying the award jokes appear again too.

 

He was talking about the one before Ryusei. Ryusei was well deserved

 

AKB deserved to win in 2011 and 2013 but not in 2012 in my opinion.

DA PUMP's song is trash, like Gangnam Style, that song would never win a "japanese grammy". JRA is about popularity but quality too, I think Synchronicity was the best one of the nominated.

 

the only one things messing it up was only unfair world coming out of nowhere and winning it on 15’ , and suddenly wild theories how JRA should give nishino kana won on 16’ is popping out everywhere (+ the bill towards LDH which leaked by bunshun afterwards). without this , AKB might had a better chances with 365 , one of their best chances ever imo. i've no comment with KFC tho , its surely deserved atm , but in other hand Hiro is also high looked figures which going to retire at that time. so anythings can happen ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

no problems with U.S.A tho , its a nice cover for me. but the arguable thing is , it was a cover song. what i read even in the past YMCA by saijo hideki was being unable to got nominated despite the popularity back then.

im ok with USA to win it despite it was cover or something , still they deserved if they won. but seems there’s some peoples still valued the 'official-rival' titles highly and need to find any complaints everytime nogi achieved something.

dw guys , im enjoyed the rivalries too , and every victories with a direct took down to you + lot of complaints and rages make this victory 2 times more delightful

 

Everyone still debates how can Nogi "busker-busker"-ed DA PUMP while I'm pissed why JE didn't send Kinpuri to any awards so they could snatch ROTY title (sorry STU + Hiragana wota)

Plus, Hiro's wife was the MC at the time so there's rumor that everytime she hosted the award then EXILE would win JRA Grand Prix

 

That is also hiro retirement from exile and coincidentally her wife s the announcer. Exile must be very "blessed" to win the award that year. Burning Production must be really "proud" of exile and j suck brother.

Yeah, the only legit reason why USA didn't win is because it's a cover (unless there's a specific award about pop performance like Grammy), and Synchronicity is definitely a close front runner thanks to the CM and strong sales. Overall it's still a bigger song tho so idk

This year is legit the only time I had 0 hope of AKB winning

I'm mad that Little Glee didn't get a nom for Gyutto tho, that song is like one of their best ever and I've just listened to all of their past works. Low sales maybe.

Japanese grammy with repeated bribery scandals LOL.

I think people here are just so ignorant with Japanese entertainment but pretend to know everything

 

AKI-P's groups were never involved on those scandals though.

Even the american grammys now are often considered a joke and rigged. it doesn't change the fact that it makes no sense that it should always win the most popular song. That's not about that. Even when AKB won, they hadn't the most popular song of the year, only in 2013 they had it. But it's a cheesy song so it had the popularity but not the quality for me. I still consider 2011/2012 wins great cause AKB in general was at the top of their popularity, like Nogizaka atm. So their victories make sense.

 

exile "exile pride" is a really qualityyyyyyyyy song. if it based on popularity then it should be named japan artist award. anyway lets end all this clash.let just enjoy 2019 nogizaka46 and akb
