Looking at history, this is my favorite result. Paruru finished 5th in the 2015 ranking, but had more points than anyone, 689 {+578,-111}. That was more positives than anyone finishing ahead of her: Takamina {+515}, Sayanee {553}, Naachan {543}, or Mayuyu {+555}, and of course she had the most negatives. Love her or hate her, she was not to be ignored.
56. (44) [9|2] [AKB] Tano Yuka {+66,-8}, 58 196. (338) [5|0] [AKB] Yasuda Kana {+18,0}, 18 35. (164) [19|0] [IZN] Honda Hitomi {+83,0}, 83. I'm really glad she debuted in Korea, because I have to admit, otherwise I might not have learned about her. She's super cute and pretty and I'm proud of her for being so high up on our vote! 43. (146) [16|0] [BNK] Cherprang Areekul {+73,0}, 73. The only international sister group member that I voted for her. She's really hard-working, extremely pretty, she tries really hard to connect with fans and overall is super likeable. 56. (104) [14|0] [HKT] Murashige Anna {+58,0}, 58 11. (17) [35|1] [IZN] Yabuki Nako {+167,-3}, 164. I'm not one bit surprised that Nako is so high up on the list. She's popular everywhere 64. (---) [13|0] [IZN] Kim Chaewon {+52,0}, 52 34. (37) [15|6] [AKB] Minegishi Minami {+109,-22}, 87. I always find it a shame but I am sadly no longer surprised by the negative votes she keeps getting. I commend her for staying true to the group for so long and I adore her a lot! 18. (31) [21|2] [AKB] Muto Tomu {+125,-7}, 118. I'm super proud of her for managing the weather forecasting test! She's always being put down by management but she continues working hard. I hope she continues to give her best and do the things she loves! 110. (---) [10|0] [IZN] Lee Chaeyeon {+37,0}, 37 28. (194) [16|0] [NGT] Sugahara Riko {+94,0}, 94. Obviously had to put her in my Top 20. Friendship and bravery, as well as loyalty, are incredibly likeable character traits. 23. (78) [19|0] [NGT] Hasegawa Rena {+108,0}, 108. Same with Riko; besides that, she also tried out on Produce 48 and although she struggled, she tried her best. 15. (20) [32|0] [NMB] Shiroma Miru {+144,0}, 144. Although this is part of 2019, congrats on getting a photobook out~! I put my faith for the future of NMB48 into her hands. 16. (6) [28|0] [AKB] Kojima Mako {+141,0}, 141. Such a pretty and cheerful person. Her smile is really contagious, and she as well showed some really unexpected sights during Produce 48. I'm sad she graduated but wish her the best 86. (---) [9|0] [IZN] Choi Yena {+44,0}, 44 216. (359) [5|1] [AKB] Shimoguchi Hinana {+19,-3}, 16 I'm only missing 4 people in my ranking now. I'm pretty sure that one of my Top 3 will make first place. I also noticed the list is pretty pink

(24) [16|0] [AKB] Okabe Rin {+101,0}, 101 I like her naughty face. so wild. her facial expression is top notch. the best in 48G history. it's such a waste she didn't get an acting job outside 48G. I want to see her in some dorama or movie. I'm fine even it's just an extras in showa-based movie or kamen rider movie. 24. (24) [24|3] [HKT] Sashihara Rino {+111,-4}, 107 my number one. the one and only. I have no word for her. just love 21. (17) [22|3] [AKB] Oguri Yui {+121,-8}, 113 I'm already her fan before Eito was formed. the real extreme classic beauty. the perfect 48G face right now. I like the way she talk, dance, act, eat, sleep. everything. I don't know why some peoples "here" called her failed push just because she can't reach senbatsu spot in ssk. ssk is not the only indicator to determine the success or failure some push. and mind you that eito fans are mostly broke because they have so many eito event to attent every year around Japan. oh, and yuiyui fans is also okabe fans too. so yeah. Top Ten has been revealed! That's it, all the results are now finally available! I'm sorry for the delay, but I quickly* threw together something rough to make up for it. Hopefully this is an interesting way to learn the top 10. if the video does not show watch the video here If you'd rather read the results, just go check the second post. Discord members suggested making a banner like we did for previous years. @Seditious85 has agreed to make a banner for the top 3 and it will be posted on the front page after a day or two so as to not spoil the final results for people who want to read them the old fashion way (or on YouTube) *I thought it would be quick when I started. It was not.

I honestly hope she gets to have her own centership in a single and one with a proper PV, unlike the Greenflash she got. I really do not know why I voted for Okada. I don't dislike her but I'm not fond of her in particular. I guess its just a result of me just doing minor edit on my past votes. I was a fan of the 3 musketeers push and I guess I'm happy at least one of them made it big in the group. I will still probably vote for her next year and I'm glad she got the #1 spot this year. I honestly thought Sayaka will stay in the top 3. So do people really leave the forum when their kami oshi graduates? Or did people who usually include her on their list simply excluded her since she graduated already? Well, this is it for this year. Thank you to kanjo for organizing everything I can't complain about the top 3, it could have been worse

(4) [33|5] [IZN] Miyawaki Sakura {+231,-20}, 211 4 points from me I have a lot of respect for Sakura. It's hard to describe but she has this star aura paired with an immense determination, which was especially visible during Produce48. Even though she might not dance or sing as well as others, it doesn't matter because her presence is already enough. On top of that she is also very good at variety, e.g. she was super fun in the HKTBINGO! series, even though of course her bad at sports persona is super fake. I also like her YT channel where she streams some of her gaming adventures. As a big fan of video games myself I really understand her frustration when she once again messed up a difficult part in a game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Special shout out to Komiharu. Orignally I didn't like her at all and I thought of her like this: Even though she is actually not my type visually. But the more I watched of her the more I liked and respected her and I think she has a great personality and is a very dedicated worker. A lot of fun to watch, too. She is definitely in my top 40 or 30 and a good example that even members you disliked initially can grow to you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The winner is, again, with a big margin Okada Nana. Congrats to her. It's somewhat boring that she always wins, but I guess she just is the best. Until next year we need a worthy rival for her, so that the run for the first place is exciting again, otherwise I fear I will watch the reveal next time like this:

My last two: 13. 4. (4) [33|5] [IZN] Miyawaki Sakura {+231,-20}, 211 Even though Sakura was the first HKT member who grabbed my attention when I entered 48G fandom, until last year she was never among my very top favourites. Then IZ*ONE happened and now she's my oshimen (bias?) in that group. At long last she's been given a chance to show her true talent and now she looks truly awesome. I think she'll still be a major star in both the Kpop and Jpop worlds long after IZ*ONE is disbanded. 2. 10. (21) [27|0] [AKB] Komiyama Haruka {+167,0}, 167 I'm so happy that my new 48G oshimen has made the top 10 rankings! For me she has now become the most beautiful member not only in AKB48 but in 48G as a whole. I hope she can develop her new YT channel, gain new fans and maybe have a PB before too long. Most importantly, I hope she can become an A-side senbatsu regular and maybe one day be a center. She's not only beautiful but very, very lovely to meet and I highly recommend buying HS tickets for her, I promise you that you'll leave her booth having fallen in love with her. (17) [22|3] [AKB] Oguri Yui {+121,-8}, 113 Naachan was my bridge from K46 to the world of AKB, and I liked her the moment I saw her in Dare no Koto wo Ichiban Aishiteru? She's serious, beautiful, respectable, and talented in her dancing and singing. She also totally fished me without me asking — I feel Yumirin's pain. Also, I'm so glad her STU kennin was able to keep her in AKB for now. Maho! Months(!) of bizarre nightmare are finally turning into something good for her, no thanks to her former employer. I hope the rumors are true, and we get to see her acting and performing again, with a truly unburdened smile at last. I love everyone in the top 10, good work S48 Thanks @kanjo for putting this all together!
A few numbers. While 330 points seems like a lot, I knew the winner got more points in the past. Why the drop? Fewer voters? More eligible members? past points for winner 2018 330 (148 voters with 2.23 points/voter) 2017 252 (106 voters with 2.38 points/voter) 2016 509 (200 voters with 2.54 points/voter) 2015 537 (221 voters with 2.43 points/voter) Fewer points per voter implies that having more choices may have had an effect. I am glad that the number of voters increased this year after dropping for several years. Not to put too much pressure on kanjo, but I am already looking forward to next year.
