They'll probably end up with everything sold out. It's quite incredible to see. They'll also probably feel the least amount of effect from the pandemic compared to other idol groups considering how much momentum they have.

Gotta say the tracklist isn't particularly exciting but I'm looking forward to Katoshi's solo.

So far when it comes to generation songs they've always picked new centers so I think this might be the case this time as well, hoping for a Hina center.

 

Not gonna lie. It brings me back to the days when I used to watch slice of life anime series. It has a nice, catchy feeling to it.

I love it. Really love it.

 

Question:
Now that they've released the track listing for the 5th Single (I'm really excited about the Gen songs and MVs!!), there is no unit song right?
So the new units that were announced in the "Spring Unit Festival", will they be released separately? Or is that in the future?

Sorry. I am a little confused. I think I missed some announcement about it or something.

 

Nope, there hasn't been any announcements regarding the unit songs. The 5th single tracklist doesn't have it (unless they intentionally hid it) and there is no mention when those songs will be released. The only thing mentioned during the concert was that one of the songs might get a MV.

By the way, this has happened before. The song Hinatazaka was sung during the Debut Countdown Live in March 2019 and was not released until it was featured in the album Hinatazaka in Sep 2020.

I think type D is my fav, but all of them are really good! Didn't expect them to relegate 3rd row to the back cover, but it does let them give a lot of attention to 1-2nd row.

I think Type C is a bit amusing though haha. All the other covers are members doing modeling faces, while Nibu/Kawata look like they're on a date

 

The covers are beautiful, although a bit reminiscent of the recent Nogizaka single's covers. My favorite is Hina and Nibu, because Hina looks stunning and I'm biased. Haruyo should definitely ditch the ponytail, she looks much prettier with her hair down.

 

I kinda like this front and back cover style instead of cramping the third row with barely seen face in the front cover lol.

Hmmm the front cover background is styled really different from each other while the back cover is styled cohesively. I feel like kawada-nibu is the only one with happy mood and really bright while the others have this somber mood with yellow-orange-ish lighting? The type d green background is eh??? The regular one is the prettiest and match the back cover the most imo.

I thought I can see manamo short hair in this cover but I guess they shot this before she cut her hair~

 

Uuuh!!! Management is good! They got tricky. Now, every Ohisama who cares about the CDs and Blu-rays has to buy 2 sets to display the whole group. Btw. did they already release the new PR poster? Has some one a link to it?

These all look great, with one small caveat. It's a small and entirely personal thing, but it bothers me that they have Konoka and Kage together rather than Konoka and Suzy. I mean, come on!

 

I mean, yeah. Hanachanzu is a must. But I think they did it based on their positions in the formation. Kage and Konoka are next to each other this time.

Plus I'm not complaining about a Mikunin and Suzy combi cover. Though I wonder if Mikuni is still a nervous mess around Kumi, Kage and Suzy.

 

I hope the MV will be elegant and stylish like the covers
