@Quark - Nah, it's fine with me that you downvoted her I would just rather have some form of reasoning rather than just "I did it" and no the other girls who've gotten down votes definitely don't deserve them. IMHO there shouldn't be a downvote system in play. Like I can see some form of merit to it in a sadistic way in that if people are giving you enough attention to downvote you it means you're on their radar somehow even if its out of dislike/hate/them being your anti, but at the end of the day all these girls are still human beings.

An example from me personally: If Miyawaki Sakura is eligible next year I would be tempted to give her negative points because of how poorly everything regarding her HKT graduation has been handled no matter how justified her wanting to move on to other opportunities in life is, but I wouldn't do it because A: She's still a human being who can make mistakes or errors in judgment and B: For all I know it could be a case of things getting out of hand behind the scenes and running off well beyond her control. Giving her downvotes for this would just be me giving in to pettiness. I'd rather spend my time giving her a +1 if there's still room on my list of picks for always making the best of the opportunities she was given over the years.

At the same time I think having the negative system is a pointless feature because it gives people that opportunity to just be petty. It also kind of IMHO doesn't inspire giving attention to girls who get downvotes and if the goal is to help people get into your favs we're doing them a disservice by having a negative points system included. Even when it comes to ones who've had scandals.

No, I dono if you read the edit but I was reading the format wrong. "{+106,-12}" I read that as if the 106 was after subtraction, but it's not so no +15 would've saved her.

But my fifteen was to Ohgoody Yui.

I ranked Techi at #5 in my list and gave her 7 points! This is the last year where she can be voted. For me the times where I followed Keyakizaka since debut were really great times, and especially thanks to Techi and Neru who were the members who got me into the group. Even though things became complicated around the end of the group, but I will always cherish the past and good memories, and I still love all the past Keyaki songs so much! As for Techi, I'm glad to see her doing well after graduation, movies, dramas, variety shows, CM, photoshoots, solo debut, radio, etc. she is doing a bit of everything and I'm glad for her. I try to follow her individual activities (but I'm slow, too many fav 48/46 graduates LOL) I wish her all the best!

I ranked Rinrin at #6 in my list and gave her 6 points! I always loved Rinrin and it's still the same as usual, she is a great girl, I'm glad that they gave her many opportunities even if she isn't among the younger members (in Team 8), she really deserves it, she is pretty and cute and funny! Although it isn't from 2020, but I really love her recent performance of Warukii

I ranked Yuiyui at #7 in my list and gave her 5 points! I always keep an eye on her activities and always enjoy seeing her updates. One thing I like from Yuiyui is that I can feel that she really loves AKB, and just for this, I approve her push! For other reasons too, of course! LOL. She's a good performer and cute, I liked seeing her in the early 2020 AKB concert, she was great in any type of songs. I'm glad that she has been getting a bit more TV works in recent months!

I ranked Miion at #20 in my list and gave her 1 point. This might be my first time that I include her in my top 20, I didn't know who to rank as #20 so I decided to give it to Miion, since she's also a member who really loves AKB and I appreciate this about her! I also know her since debut so she's a member that I know very well.

I didn't vote for Sakura, same as the previous years, because for me I consider this ranking for my 48/46 ranking and I don't consider IZ*ONE as active in 48G, I never included them (if I did, I would have ranked Sakura and Minju). After looking back, I realized that I didn't vote for Sakura since the 2018 ranking (voted in 2019) which is a mistake from me since we're supposed to vote based on the year before, and in 2018 she was the member I supported the most when she was active in 48G and voted for her in elections. But I guess by 2019 I didn't think of the first half of 2018 LOL anyway I'm not surprised that she ranked down since all of IZ*ONE ranked down. She's been my fav in HKT since debut so I still like her and follow her.

I didn't vote for Kaki, but among the new Nogi members in recent years, I quite like her. She seems nice and cute. But I just don't follow Nogi as much as before so yes (I did have Nogi members in my list, same ones as every year, and they didn't appear yet LOL). I'm surprised at how high Kaki is ranking already o_o This forum has a lot of active Nogi fans (and Nogi has less members so it helps). But still she is a 4th gen and very high, I think it's nice that the fandom is accepting new girls so fast, it helps for the future of the group.

20. (50) [12|3] [SKE] Matsui Jurina {+95,-15}, 80 // 5th. I'm satisfied with her results. I believe this is her final eligible year even though her graduation happened this year so I wanted to support her while I could and I know she's never been especially popular in these so I'm really glad that she landed at 20th. Her idol career was one hell of a journey full of excitement and so many twists and turns and failures and triumphs and I'm still reeling for her graduation.

14. (16) [12|3] [AKB] Minegishi Minami {+106,-12}, 94 // 17th. I'm satisfied with this too as it's a small rise but it's still a rise. I think it's amazing that she's gone out of her way to not consume alcoholic beverages for 500+ days in addition to other things just so she can be in the best shape of her life for her graduation for the fans who will be there to see her. I'm really looking forward to that and I'm really happy in retrospect that she waited all this time for it instead of just pulling the trigger.

Over the years I've had a love/hate relationship with her because of perceived favortism from management (which for all I know could very well have been real, I don't exactly have evidence to the contrary and no-one's ever been able to give me a solid argument to the contrary) towards her as a 1st gen and an Ori A baby (especially given she seemed to be given a lot of opportunities over girls more popular in things like the the elections and at handshakes than her), but she really proved herself worthy of being given those opportunities, making the best of them and the best of using them to give back to AKB with each one of them. At the end of the day I have nothing but respect for her and I will miss her. Storied idol careers like hers are what I live for the most when it comes to following them and I'm gonna cry like a baby the day of her graduation.

Just 3 left. I hope they land where I think they will. My thought on the rest of the reveals for today: Fukuoka Seina and Muto Tomu had some nice rises in rank. Generally surprised to see such a balanced ratio of girls from 48 vs 46 groups even this far into the ranking brackets.

Actually the members can be voted until the moment of graduation so Jurina can still be voted next year for the 2021 ranking! I didn't comment on it on my previous post but although I didn't vote for Jurina, I think that it's nice that she ranked up and received less downvotes than before. She had a long career and history in AKB and SKE and a lot of memories.

I'm happy Jurina got a great ranking. It was great to see my all-time SKE kami-oshi off in a wonderful setting. She's such a sweetheart and deserved a good ranking! Tomu is my AKB kami-oshi so I'm really happy she made top 15, even more so that there were no negative votes. I also gave +4 to Runrun because I felt 2020 was a serious breakout year for her. She has a lot of star power and I'm happy she's not as quiet or reserved anymore and is such a joy to watch on shows and during performances.
