Congrats to Miyu and Wakatan for the first time in senbatsu!

I have to say, I'm really not in favor of graduation singles... These past few years, the groups (every 48 group) don't have enough releases by year to justify having graduation singles for goodbyes. it feels like a waste... :/ I was actually expecting this single to be centered by Sakatan and Keito >.< I know Nagisa is extremely popular but maybe they could have given her a song and MV as a b-side for her graduation, and a very big concert, final events, etc. Now this single will have a feeling of just... goodbyes. Not a feeling of "new start". Oh well...

I'm also a bit sad about the lack of new gens, they didn't include any new 8th gen member (it's still only Sakatan, who's my favorite! but I wanted some other ones), and they included one of the 9th gens but I admit that I never thought it would be Wakatan, she's nice but it's not who I expected. Reipon is doing very good and she's the most popular (in everything) so I really thought they would give her a big push, but I guess not... My personal favorites in 9th gen are Yukatan and Tenna though, but I didn't think that they would make it anyway. but now, since Wakatan made it, I guess maybe Yukatan and Tenna could have been the one who made it too XD haha. I want them all in! They really need to have more new gens in senbatsu >.<

 

I think, Nagisa's graduation single center was well deserved, not only because she probably is the most popular NMB48 member among the remaining ones, but because she really shows center potential with her bright-shining aura. When Jonishi Rei or Chihhii appeared as centers, those were wth moments to me, as I never expected members, who were literal undergirls to ever arrive at the top, once (due to the mass graduations 2018-2021).
I also disagree with the assumption, there were to many graduation singles. If not Nagisa, who else would you give the graduation-center to? There's absolutely noone, as outside the NMB48 fandom niche, any other girl appears as a no-name idol.
Btw, I hope Yumirin & maybe Nappi get their deserved graduation singles, while I jave higher hopes for Yumirin.

 

I'm no fan of graduation singles either. A banger B-side with Nagisa as center + a grad song would have been really good.
Looking over to AKB, how many of the grad singles are performed regularly, aside from "Manatsu no Sounds Good!" ? (Mae Shika Mukanee, Kuchibiru ni be my Baby, Shoot Sign, 11gatsu no Anklet, ...)

 

Just like Mana, I'm a bit disappointed by this choice of center for the 28th single. I would have prefered a good B-side to honor Nagisa's career.
My first choices would have been Sakatan, Keito or Shinshin (but for the latter, it seems impossible). For me, NMB is one of the 48G group which has managed to cross sucessfully the handover era between older and newer gens. To nominate someone like Nagisa seems to me like a regress, especially when you have young high potential idols like a Sakatan, a Mikana ou a Keito.

Beside the center topic, I would have love to see Fuuwa, Zion, Momoka, Yukatan or Tenna in this single.

 

Tbh I'm kind of tired to see all these faces. NMB need more new faces, more mixes, something like Janken singles. We have 5 permanent "must have" mebers: Mikana, Kojirin, Rei, Chihi and Wakapon, but other position (11 of 16) should change more significantly. Oh well at least I hope to hear a good song...
Nagisa... I'm not her fan especially as center... I have no choice but to tolerate her presence...

It's coming with Team songs, and it looks like only 2 tracks for the theater CD (according to Pop'nroll above) another one (I had to check twice Universal store pages)

I'm not a big fan of songs titled after a specific member, be it a pillar of it's time or not, for the main reason it limits the replayability of the said song once it's main subject is gone.
Exemple: "Sayanee"

This song is cute! Nothing too special or unique, but it's a cute song, it's nice. I actually don't think that it feels like a graduation single lol. but then again, I'm not sure what would sound like a graduation single. I just think this song would have been perfect with a new gen senbatsu I imagine this song centered by new gens... with a nice MV... it would be perfect!

For me graduation single is when the a-side feels like the soon-to-be graduated members' "vibe" you know. And when the lyrics have a meaning of parting, etc. songs that falls into this category for me are 11gatsu no Anklet, jiwaru days, Kaerimichi wa toomawari shitaku naru, sayonara no imi and so on.

 

Beautiful song. despite the Graduation vibes ahead it doesn't feels like one. Very glad about it. So it has to stay in my playlist lol
