I honestly defend live singing all the way. Lip syncing is fine, but I'd take a bad live performance over lip syncing any day of the week. It's just more fun, not to mention I don't expect idols to sing perfectly. And in this case I think they did a good job!

I'm the complete opposite, I wish most idol performances were lip synced, unless the girl(s) were particularly good vocalists. I care more about a fun and smooth performance than whether or not the vocals are live

For me live vocals can add to the fun. I'm not interested in only ever hearing the studio version over and over again. It's fine, I don't really have anything against that, but I want to hear their actual voices sometimes. Especially considering AKB mostly doesn't sing live and only started doing it more recently. I used to get excited about Request Hour and their Kouhaku because that was essentially the only time the girls ever sang live, and it wasn't even on every song. Maybe other idols sing live more, but I mainly follow AKB so live singing sometimes is welcome. Also I like that the girls now have more involved choreos and are investing in that as well as synchronization, they're doing great, but with that comes the fact that every performance is going to be the same (much like we see with K-Pop, but to a lesser degree). There isn't as much space for each member to add their own flavor to the performance with more involved choreos. So at least with live singing you can have a bit of diversity. In the theater especially it's nice to be able to hear everyone's voices instead of the studio version of girls who aren't even in the group any more.

And this not me criticizing your opinion or anyone else who doesn't really like live singing, btw. Especially because I'm not against lip syncing at all, if I were I wouldn't be an AKB fan haha. But I do think live singing is fun.

Sounds like a typical kpop fandom attitude

Starship would have allready sued DH if it was a problem.
I didn't know "tall" was a plagiarism criteria.

It's not too hard to defend.
Similarities with photos: there's no copyright on colors, and they don't have the same scenery
Group logo: there's a big difference here. IVE's logo is it's full name, on the other side it is only 1 stylized letter + the rest of the name.
Song titles: I letter is enough to make all the difference. I don't think a title can be protected with copyright either. Wikipedia returns a good amount of songs with that title. (or "La vie en rose" ?? )
    Height: see above.

Still it looks similar, surely done on purpose. That's (again) not a smart move from the creative crew.
the group needs a clearly identified identity.

I think it's ridiculous to accuse them of plagiarism whatsoever. It's extremely weird to use people's heights as something that could qualify you for plagiarism, as if other groups can't have tall girls. Not to mention, the UNLAME members aren't exactly tall, and definitely not as tall as the girls in IVE. It's also not that hard to make a similar promo photo, since the outfits are nothing special whatsoever. They're just white. Anyone can do that. To think IVE did something revolutionary with that to where people would bother purposefully copying it is stupid. The logo being similar is just trying to read into it, and plenty of songs have similar or just straight up the same titles. Most of all, though, UNLAME's songs aren't k-pop or similar to IVE, so... yeah, this is just k-pop fans being k-pop fans. There's a reason I just casually listen to k-pop instead of interacting with the fandoms at all.

Anyway I'm happy to see them getting more jobs, certainly among my top two most idol/AKB-like contestants!:2nd:

From now, it's the weekly show
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Last week was the end of Yukirin / Gouki era.

The episode is all about the 2 songs, in 2 parts.

t displays the singing lessons, recording sessions and shows the girls listening the final product. (1 part for each song)

It's interesting for any idol fan, because it displays the pretty much never shown work behind a CD release.
Kondo san looks very supportive with the girls it's really nice.

@tamvk12 may want to have a look for more details about the lines distribution.

Next week will be about the MV shooting.

I'm just back home from TWICE's concert in London tonight and as I was skimming through SNS reports I spotted this X post from someone who bumped into Momo's sister Hana at the arena and took a 2-shot with her (I wish now I'd kept my eyes open in case I saw her!):

As the tweet said, the episode is all about "I am I" dance rehearsals and the MV filming.
It follows each girls through their dance lessons and KANU has some words about all of them.
There's a mention about Sae's ballet training which she practiced from 5 years old
Narumi couldn't attend all the lessons with everyone.

The 2nd part is about the MV filming in NYLON's studio.
It follows individual and full team shootings.

By the end, the girls are shown reacting to the full MV.

Next week they'll have a surprise guest in the person of
    [hide]Yukirin[/hide]
, and it looks like it will be about "Prismatic"

IN the past 2 weeks, the show is back to a lower pace, it's all about rehearsing for the TGC performance.
Episode 23 is all i nthe studio, episode 24 is aout the work on the stage.

In the talk with Yukirin, she gaves a lot of advices.
    Yuichi called Naru, mother :hehe:
Sae is allready looking forward for a concert.
In a few large shots, we can see it's not a blessing to be the TGC opening act, the venue was maybe barely half filled.
After the performance, everyone looked satisfied
And some people fro mthe audience were inerviewed.

Ichinomiya-P briefly showed up at the end of episode 24, check the UNLAME thread to learn the reason.
