Single NMB48 29th single [Kore ga Ai na no ka?] - (2024/05/22)

You may have notcied that the girls are wearing a red string tied around their fingers.
It is an expression of the link in the group and it shows that the members are all connected.

The single was premiered tonight at the NMB Theater - and I was there! It was very unexpected, at least for me. I had attended tonight’s BII performance and at the end the lights went dark for a few minutes. When they came back on the full senbatsu was on the stage and not just BII members, for example there was Kojirin, Mikanyan, Rei, Chihhi, Aanon, Miyu and Maitii. There was an announcement on the big screen and the performance started.

The song itself is an uptempo rock-like number although I have to confess it didn’t quite ‘grab’ me at first hearing but I've since heard a recording uploaded by a fan and I think it's a lot better on the second hearing. The costumes were plain grey school uniform type.

Anyway, that was a totally jaw-dropping surprise for me! I’ll do a write-up of the evening including the BII stage sometime later tonight in the NMB Experiences thread.
