Okinawa and Amami typhoon frontline
Hiroshima Prefecture has an English-language webpage to give advice to tourists during the typhoon:
You can add Wasamin’s events on Sado Island to the list of cancelled events this weekend. Unfortunately we didn’t find out until we were in the boat going to the island. But they wanted to be cautious in case the typhoon got here earlier than expected.
They are also advising everyone who planned on leaving the island today to leave early, as the boats could be delayed or cancelled.
Just reached Nagoya!
NHK's special page for the newest update on the typhoon
Also picked this information up just now!
Typhoon 25 route prediction
Just slipping through S.Korea and Japan
Meanwhile earthquake happened in Fiji too.
If you live anywhere affected by Pacific Ring Of Fire, the area is currently in high activity.
Can happen in Japan again beside typhoon.
Stay safe guys!
M4.6 earthquake just off the coast of Chiba prefecture at 0:15 JST tonight - probably nothing much by Japanese standards but it appears to have scared the sh*t out of Japan Times journalist Jesse Johnson who lives there, he's tweeting now: https://twitter.com/jljzen
Should had been autumn but high temperature in Niigata few days ago.
Kinda late but all typhoons have died down now. Today is a good day in Japan. With occasional earthquakes under magnitude 5.
Recent earthquakes in Pacific Ring of Fires!
6.2 magnitude earthquake in North Island, New Zealand.
In China, this newscaster still worked tho there was an earthquake yesterday:
Also another earthquake in western Java, about 5 magnitude, can be felt in Jakarta but I didn't feel that because I was asleep, it was 4 AM.
Also in The Ring of Fire,
A tsunami alert was issued as 7.6 magnitude earthquake happened in New Caledonia.
Hope nothing bad happens, this can affect Australia & New Zealand.
Nothing got here (yet)
Another eartquake in Hokkaido and Yupi, the center of JKT48 barely felt anything bad while Shani, the former sousenkyo winner was very scared. Yupi would have no problem if she lives in Japan. heheheh
Yeah they're in Hokkaido for some jobs. Maybe for a traveling TV show and even Yupi shoots her photobook there which is winter themed. Hokkaido is still snowy as of today.
Remember March 11th !
I know its not weather news but...
