    I'm so happy they finally made it!! It's a moving performance, and I love how they didn't just play the track just now.

    2011 IS the year of AKB! Personally, I can see their popularity growing more next year but this year is and will ever be their biggest milestone.

    Congrats to the girls for this wonderful achievement! An emotional performance, surprised they were able to bounce back after almost breaking down in tears. Pros.

    Not going to lie... I started crying the moment they did when they got on stage to receive the award. But I also had the biggest smile on my face as well and was more than happy when that announcer uttered "AKB Fourty-eighto." To be honest a part of me wanted to see AAA up on the stage... But I was even happier that AKB won! I just about fangasmed when I saw AKB and AAA next to each other though, for those of you who don't know who I'm talking about they are the group sitting next to Miichan all in blue with two of their other members in blue in the front row.

    While watching the video I totally started thinking that they should just let the girls perform while high on life to make the moment even better.

    Then Aki-P started talking... Then I heard the countdown to the start of the song... Then more tears happened...

    It really was an awesome moment except the fact that Aki=P got cut off but the live band gave the performance an amazing touch of awesome. I lol'd when some of the band was pretty much jamming out while playing.

    (on a side note, can anyone tell me how big this award is? I'm assuming it's a huge thing cos the girls are so overwhelmed by this. Is it like the Grammy's in Japan?)

    Also nice to see them sing Flying Get live (well, as live as it can be). It's not an easy song to execute well live, with its choreography and all. I'm glad it turned out quite well. The second performance after the win is just ...raw with emotions. Love it :inlove: .
