    I has a question?
Did you think around 16,000 votes can rank in this Sekai Sousenkyou?
What I know Cher and Music are around that votes now. If they vote only one person they can go around undergirls or maybe lower than that but I don’t think they will do that way.

From last year, 16K is safe to make it in the top 80. Since there are 100 slots this year, I think 16K is likely good enough to at least get a spot.

I would say, 16000 maybe safe enough in rank 80-100 or UcG.

What their plan want to get 20,000 votes to make sure for get rank but it not on time (there funding project will end today around 5:48pm thai time.) Hope individual vote that didn’t participate in this Funding project are around 1500+ vote. There are some individual who groups up and only buy code. Some groups can get 260 votes from what I see but don’t know there are other group or not.

I didn’t help them either cuz my KamiOshi will want all of votes as much as her Ota can give. Feel sorry for them but still hope those two can rank.

If they both have 16000 I bet they'll rank.

This will almost certainly get on the news in Thailand and people will see what a big deal the SSK is. So next year they might be more competitive. Perhaps they'd even get some new Japanese fans during that time period.

Maybe, but I think most will just save for BNK's SSK. The power difference between JPY against THB is too big.
The same happened with JKT. Where even the management went "greener" than AKS to also have digital votes.

Even if only one of them enter, another’s fan won’t vote for her.
They don’t see this as the sake of BNK48

I believe Cherprang has said this will be her one and only time in SSK and that she would not participate next year even if they allow BNK to enter again as she’d rather focus on BNK’s own election. This is just her inner fangirl self fulfilling her weirdest dream.

Probably because Sari and Sally are pronounced almost the same? Same reason why Hirate Rina became Hillary (HIRAte RIna = Hirari = Hillary). Or why Watanabe Miyuki became Milky (Miyuki = Miruki = Milky). There are probably more examples.

    Exactly.
The thing is there is no LI in the japanese syllabary.
The closest syllab they have is RI,
And to extend, they don't have a clear L sound in their pronouciation, it is a mix between L and R

16k votes is very good result for newcomer, even if it's still far away from Cher target (55K)

They literally scrapped the bottom of the pot :awesome: No NMB48 members? Seems Yoshimoto still doesn't like their idols to appear in Showroom shows. I can understand having no STU48 members, they have just participated once, but no NGT48 ones?

There's something with Japanese trying to sound cool and get English nicknames too. Although Harurun (Sano Haruka) signs as HALUKA which is kind of odd personally.

Well, there is Umeyama Cocona as well (Kokona would make more sense), and then Murakawa Vivian/Bibian has 2 possible romanizations of the name. Even Jurina used to spell her name as Jyurina. It's just that the way Japanese works, while there is one "standard" romanization most people tend to use, it's still kinda open to some variations.

There's also an issue with long vowels. It was always a bit weird to me that most people spell Souda (Sarina) and Sutou (Ririka) like this, but they don't spell Kato as Katou, Ito is Itou, Sato as Satou, etc. By the way, I know some Japanese people with those names who spell them as Katoh, Itoh, Satoh etc. as well. All of these are acceptable spellings so they're not technically wrong, I just wonder why the 48G fan community doesn't stick to one way of romanization for all of them.
