I honestly don’t care who wins as long as Aki-P comes through with a Kami Level idol song

Why would dropping Sakura make a difference in how many HS tickets she sells?

if she loses ssk and gets a solo song

I don't think it would. The person I was responding to is claiming that Sakura choosing to not participate in SSK after this year is endangering her career and that AKS will stop putting her in single senbatsus. I'm arguing that she is already popular enough to not need a "push" and that she is a HS seller and that's why she'll continue to be in senbatsu, SSK or not.

I met Sakura twice this weekend at the shamekai in Yokohama and impression she made on me both times was that she looked very, very tired. She was quiet, she didn’t say anything but she was still very pleasant and she responded to requests for poses. I wished her good luck in Produce48 and she gave me a nice little smile in return.

I hope she will reconsider any decision not to run again next year in SSK but it does seem to me that maybe she needs to concentrate on fewer things.

does make me wonder if she doesn't wanna do the P48 thing and then be forced to sign a 2.5 year contract (if she makes the top 16?) and still do HKT work. She did seem pretty overworked. IDK how Jurina does all this work...girl has been overworked since she was like 14 and has the entirety of SKE on her shoulders a lot of times. Jurina - whenever she graduates - deserves a solid 2 year vacation.

Well if we're talking about most overworked girl.. my choice is still Matsui Rena's final year. She was in 4 AKB's , 3 SKE's and 3 Nogi's singles + 1 nogi's album + 1 AKB's album, not to mention sets of concerts for each group

I was surprised she didn't collapse.

I believe Jurina, Sakura and Naachan all said they are aiming for #1. I also saw SKE's Kitagawa Yoshino aiming for rank-in.

In case some don't know allready, we found out that they decided to block foreign VISA and Mastercard on Chara-ani, so making it more difficult for oversea fans to acquire cheap voting ballots. American Express cards still works but not everyone has one.

Ironically they Tweeted this not too long ago:
    https://twitter.com/AKB48_staff/status/993438153259106304
So for oversea fans, votes from the official way are cost something like 30% more not counting the buyee fees and shipment.

I really don't understand what they are doing here ?
Why are they cuting themself from their foreign customers ?
I bet China and most of Asia are not affected. (a good number of votes comes from China, the year Mayu won proved it)
So much for a WORLD election, and so unfair for foreigners .....

Yeah yeah, there are the taiwanese versions which cost how much less compared to a theater CD How easier / hardest are those to acquire from out of Asia ?
Hint : i just checked Yesasia and those are not listed. (I don't recommend this site for election singles anyway, they have slow shipping).

I see, just helped another member to pay in convenience store and Easypay account. Are they out of their mind? They want World Senbatsu and make it harder for foreigners to vote? :fp:

It's their loss in the end. The serious fans who want to bulk buy votes from overseas will find a way - and that just puts money in the pockets of resellers.

Of course, but the resellers are making profit from AKS' products. AKS could just allow overseas purchases and charge more - but they instead choose to allow other people to make money. No complaints from me - I live in Japan now. Maybe I should start reselling, too.

Right, normally people have a rough budget in mind rather than a target number of votes, I believe. So this person would be spending X dollars on votes, that could go part to the single and part to the reseller, or it could go all to the single.
