AKB48 Fans Manila Meetup thread

I think this is the summary so far:

Whiteknight is not available on June 13 and 14
Naj is not available until after June 13.
Cha's sched seems most tight. Cha, is there a sched that would fit with you?

Right now, it seems the earliest we could do this would be June 19 or 20, unless Naj's Aunt's wedding has been moved from June 6

 

i'm voting for June 20 then.

if we are going to change it again, then let's decide it based on the arrival of the akbingo books. we're originally supposed to meet to distribute those to everyone.

We are now set to hold the second Manila Meetup. [party] Please take note of the said details:

Meetup Place: Seattle's Best, Megamall Strip
Meetup Date: June 19, 2010
Meetup Time: I prefer we start in the morning so we can corner a lot of chairs and have breakfast. 9AM for me is good.
Meetup Agenda:
1. AKB noobie orientation (old videos)
2. AKB video watch (new stages and some tv episodes)
3. AKB swag sharing
4. whatever else comes to mind

Wait, Isn't this our 3rd meetup? Anyway June 19 is fine with me but i still have to arrange and confirm my schedule cause i'm not sure about the date my aunt is going to fly back to Canada and the whole family might go to the airport to say our last goodbyes before she leaves. I'll post again if there's any updates. About bachacha, same time as last year? so you mean "BW"?

Yes, this should be labelled the 3rd meetup, the BK one counts, it was the first, that was very important!

Also, you should check if Seattle's Best opens at 9am, most of the stuff there open at 10 or later.

 

The mall opens at 10 am. Well if one of you guys work there, maybe we can enter the premises of the mall earlier. And no, i'm talking about the meetup we had last year at the MOA. With the barista who "tricked" me

 

Seattle's Best is accessible from the outside though, so it's possible that it will open before 10, especially considering it's a coffee shop, but foot traffic would dictate what time they would open.

Yeah, the meetup at the coffeeshop that closed on our second meet was our official first! We went there right after lunch at BK. 2nd meetup was the one with youku and cisumechan.

Maybe a 10am calltime would be most prudent. Although securing seats right as they open would be a great idea. There are great seats there that can seat about our number if you push together some tables right next to a power outlet. I don't remember if Seattle's Best serves anything lunch-like though.

 

i'm just joking naj..as if we can still go there...hahaha, maybe we can just talk about it sometime..

sorry guys,i can't go with you... i have class on Saturdays...

 

let's make it 9AM, i find it disadvantageous to seattle's best that starbucks opens as early as 7AM-8AM and seattle's is still closed.

if they're closed at 9AM we can just cross the street and raid starbucks.

we have to be early there. the last thing we need is we can't find seats.

we have verbal confirmation from sayaka herself that she got our group picture, and her mom saw it, and they were really happy!!

for those who want to send messages for the girls. . . Cisumechan-san insisted that we can make our message/s and e-mail him our message/s. . . Since he'll be going to to the AX2010 this coming July. . .

btw, the deadline is 26 or 27 (according to him, well it's better to be ready. Let's go with 26). . . We'll just have to pass it in his E-mail. . . I'll just explain the rest during the meetup
