Figured I'd attempt a thread on something I'm very into. ♥

So! Anyone watching any now, watched any in the past, planning on watching any future ones, or am I talking to myself already? XD

Mod Edit: I've changed the title from J-Dramas to Asian Dramas because I think we can discuss more than just Japanese dramas since I know most of us also loves Korean and Taiwanese dramas.

I'm still very into "Liar Game" at the moment <3

It's such a great show, and the first few episodes definitely kept me on the edge of my seat a lot. Toda Erika's character makes me want to slap sense into her sometimes though, haha.

I never got into watching Jdramas, It's just the fact that I have to download stuff and I'm a very impatient!
I watched one episode of 100 Litres of tears, which was so sad, but I didn't know what the hell was going on so I stopped that.

I REALLY wanted to get into watching Liar Game, because Erika Toda = win, but again, downloads etc.. Is there anywhere that hosts them to view online?

Oh dude, I'm watching Liar Game too. ♥ I love how it makes sense, someone's really thought it through.

I was so proud of me for seeing the trick in the card game before it was explained. XD

You really should try and watch all of 1 litre of tears, it's such a touching and brilliant drama. One of the saddest things I've ever seen

I was watching Taiyou no uta, but I stopped watching around episode 6. It was very boring. I was expecting good things since it's Sawajiri and Takayuki. I think YUI starring in the movie made it impossible for me to like any other Amane Kaoru.

Liar game sounds good. I'll try and watch that next :)

Erika and Ryo are so awesome in that. D: Still the only drama I've cried at, ever. And I cried almost every single episode. Gah. ♥ So much love.

I've started watching so many dramas only to lose interest around the 7th, 8th, or 9th episode. It's the same for longer dramas, like Taiga dramas, only I'll lose interest in those around the 40th episode.

I think I have something like 20 unfinished dramas laying around, some of which I actually really liked for the first couple of episodes. Oddly enough I can finish mediocre and really bad shows just fine as long as Ito Misaki (Sapuri, You're Under Arrest!) or Aragaki Yui (Gal Circle, Sh15uya) are in it.

Needless to say I eat up the good shows they're in, like Kiken na Aniki (Ito Misaki and Shaku Yumiko  ), Densha Otoko or My Boss My Hero.

Tiger & Dragon is probably the best one I've seen. Really clever and well-written, and great actors.

I haven't actually watched anything at all this season, because I tried to sit through four episodes of Erai Tokoro ni Totsuide Shimatta! last season, which I only barely managed to survive. It was so, so, so very bad. I don't know why I even bothered trying to watch it, though, since I don't really like Nakama Yukie and I intensely dislike her voice. I didn't mind her in Musashi, but I think that may have something to do with her dying twice...

Oh, same. But usually around the fourth. Did watch Densha Otoko until ep7 though, so that's cool. I have a drama geek BFF who forces me to watch all the ones she likes lmao. XD I don't like all of them, but some of them are awesome. ♥

Just watched Kurosagi recently - my second attempt, since I cut out at ep3 while it was airing because I hated Tsurara. God, seriously, that ending was like the essence of "ok w/e I'm bored of this crap now" - though the police scene was pretty good. I wanted to see the destruction of Mikimoto and death of Katsuragi...

Anyone who's seen it: is Tatta Hitotsu no Koi worth getting? I want to see it for Koki, Kame and Erika but I have no idea what the plot is or anything...

Wow, thought I was the only one who mostly lost interest in dramas early on

This only happens with Asian dramas for me, really. Only with a few shows I actually watch until the end, like 'Liar Game'. It all depends on the plot and acting. Western dramas are the only ones I watch until the very end for the ones I get into.

I used to watch a ton of dramas about a year or two ago, but then BT started getting on nerves so I stopped watching them. Thanks to Veoh, I;m starting to watch some again though. I've only watch like 5 dramas all the way through

Have you seen Sekai no chuushin de ai wo sakebu (sp?)? That's really sad, not as sad as 1 litre personally, but my friends seem to have cried more at that.

Liar game is OK so far, I'm on episode 3 too. It doesn't seem as clever as it's trying to be so far, the first 2 episodes have been painfully predictable. Maybe it's because I've seen Prison Break and Death note that it doesn't seem as clever.

Toda Erika is so cute. If Nakanishi Rina and Oshima Mai fused, you'd get Erika :p

I'm more into Korean dramas than Japanese ones. But I watched some that I enjoyed like: 1 Litre of Tears, Kao, Anata no soba ni Dareka iru, Watashi no Aozora, Water boys, and Sakura.
