[Birthday Project] Minegishi Minami: Message cards & flowers

Hey everyone,

For Miichan's 19th birthday, I am going to coordinate two projects.

Message Cards and also a Flower Arrangement!

For more information, please click the spoiler boxes under each project below. I encourage everyone to participate in these projects. Whether she's your oshimen, or you only like her just a little bit. Let's show Miichan some love from her many overseas fans!!

Message Cards

Once again we will cooperate with the Japanese fans and collect birthday messages for Miichan.

In about 250 characters or less, please write a birthday message (in English, Japanese, or Chinese), and PM it to me (or send an email to flagator21@gmail.com) along with your name and country. 250 is the limit for each card, but multiple cards can be used if you exceed that so don't worry about going over. I will be sending all of our messages to the Japanese fans represented by yonetaro-san. He and the rest of Miichan's birthday commitee will translate the messages and print them onto the cards. They will be presented to the theater staff and given to Miichan the day of her birthday show.

This portion of the birthday project is Free. It's not neccessary to participate with the flower arrangement if you just want to submit a message! We encourage everyone to participate. All it will "cost" is a minute or two of your time. It doesn't have to be a fancy message. Just a simple, "Happy Birthday", would mean a whole lot. :smile:


Due date is November 11th.

Flower Arrangement

Inspired by loveandcoffee's successful project sending a flower arrangement to Sae, let's send Miichan some flowers from her overseas fans!

I will be using the same flower shop that Claudia used, http://www.hanagin.co.jp/

There are 3 types of arrangements:

Smallest - 15,750 yen
Medium - 21,000 yen
Largest - 31,500 yen

We'll start off with choosing the smallest arrangement to keep the cost low. The more people that participate, the cheaper it will be for everyone, and the bigger the arrangement could be. I am always open to those who are willing to spend more to upgrade, but let's hope it won't be neccessary!

Possible scenarios:
10-15 participants, choosing smallest (between 1050 - 1575 yen)
16-25 participants, choosing medium (between 840 - 1313 yen)
25+ participants, choosing largest (at most 1212 yen)

Does this sound fair to everyone? Hopefully we can gather enough people to aim for the large arrangement!On the greeting plate we are alloted 80 characters max. I am also open to suggestions for how it will read. Since this is a collective project, it shouldn't be up to me only. So, by all means please post your ideas!

Due date to commit is November 7th.
Please only agree to participate if you can commit to payment.

After that date, based on how many people are participating the final cost per person will be decided.
Due date for payment is November 14th.
Payment will be made through PayPal. To avoid confusion when paying, be sure to choose "Japanese yen" as the currency.

I will keep everyone informed on the progress along the way.

I would absolutely love to pitch in for the flower arrangement for Miichan's birthday, but I recently deleted my PayPal account. I'll probably just make a new one so that I can pitch in, but to be safe, I'll wait until later to commit to paying.

I would of loved to help with the flower arrangement, but i spent so much money these past few months that I just can't afford it now.

I would love to chip in for the flower arrangement gift.

I don't really have a particular member that I favour since I'm a new fan of AKB. But I'll do my part in contributing to this special occasion for her.

As this is my first time contributing, I have some questions bout the payment though, I think I'll email them to you later.
