Hope they don't focus too much in front row members only.

    From Trailer.

Pupe : If I cry, I'm going to get more air time right?
Director : You can try, Let's cry.
Pupe : I know the girl who cry on footage going to get more airtime for sure, while all I done talking in this interview going to get air for 2 min only.

    lol

    Here I translated them.

Interviewer: How do you view the group in its current state?

    BNK48 Office
    Salmon House
    presents

Pun: I want to have a session where we talk, seriously, without the adults, just the members.

    The talk between 26 teens.

    Interviewer: Action.
    Izurina: *smiles*
Miori: Hello. My name is Miori. *smiles*

With many questions that were never asked
Jane, Jaa, Can, Kaimook, Namneung, Kaew: *cries*
Tarwaan: I don't want to cry at the beginning. It's like...
Pupe: Oh if I cry, will I get more scenes? *laughs*
Interviewer: Go on crying then. You'll definitely get those air time.
Pupe: I'm sure the ones who cry will definitely get air time. All those things I talked about won't even get to air for more than 2 minutes.

With many answers that are not tears

Namsai: Alright let's try again. Hup
Satchan: This is a story I've never told anyone.

Because this is no longer the story about idols

Orn: There is. Like when people hire us out, they will see which members are the "top" of the group. This is the "fact". It's really easily the truth.

This is the story of reality,

Kate: Actually I don't really care if I am famous or not.

    popularity,

Music: Everyone says "just compete with yourself". It's something outsiders won't understand. It's about internal competition between members. Quite dark actually.

    competition,

Jib: There will surely be discrimination..

    discrimination,

Korn: ..maybe (someone) will stay at the bottom forever

    ranking,

Pupe: I'm not accepting this. (I will) do everything to make people see that I deserve to be at that position.

    dreams,

Mobile: It's all fun and games to me.

    youth,

Noey: I think it's the peakest year of my life.

    being remembered,

Nink: "Eh? Who is this girl again?" and then they pointed at me. "Who is this girl?"

    being forgotten,

Maysa: Honestly, getting discouraged is not a thing I'm proud of.

    wounds,

Piam: What should I do? Will I survive in this group?.

    and effort.

Mind: to be better, and know myself better. We should like... *kuyashii cries*

Cherprang: It's really cruel that it is like this. It's like...killing our own friends.

    BNK48: GIRLS DON'T CRY

A documentary film by Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit

Jennis: What I just said is just the tip of the iceburg.
Interviewer: There's even more of this?!
Jennis: There's so many more. If I am to go into details of everything, people would go *gasp*...It's really shocking, newspaper front page stuff.

    Auguest 16, 2018, all cinemas.

    Cherprang: It's sounds serious right?
Interviewer: I really feel exhausted for you girls.

    EDIT: Damn I'm too slow.

Already watched it. Good movie overall, but not great. The main targeted audiences are the outsiders or the casual fans. Not for the hardcore fans.
The movie is telling a story of the 5 main casts represented the 5 viewpoints of the band. While had the other 21 members as a supporting cast.
1 member from the main cast is predicted to gain the unexpected high popularity after the movie launched. I'll not say who, but she is a really unexpected element of the movie.

As an outsider, this movie successfully introduced the group to me. I do know AKB48 prior but didn't really look into them. Now I have a new hobby.

Since the movie run is over, do you mind explain who is unexpected element?

I think who got most benefits from this documentary is
Pupe, If you see the reaction from hardcore fans, casual fans even audience who didn't interest in BNK48 still talk about her. cause in this documentary she's mood maker, and she's the one who is light up the atmosphere to not getting more dramatic, and they loved her.

and the one who got Disadvantage is Cherprang cause some people think she's cold blood, lol. But I think she's just too professional. But the good thing is her fans love her more because of this.

Well, it's clearly Pupe. She even said herself that her life is only getting better and better after the movie.

Thanks for the insight! I guess i have to watch it again to take note. Also that would probably explain the constant cheer for Pupe (at least at my side of the crowd) during last week's concert.

there's a bit of mistake in the article.

    1. The one who's fearing a life of anonymity is "Orn" not "Korn"
    2. Jib is 15 when the time of the documentary shooting. She just look 12-14 because be petite due lack of sleep (Normal for gamer lolz) even my friend still think Jib is still 13.
