Hello, i don't know if there is already a thread about it, i didn't see it, but do some of you play instruments ? If yes, since how many years/months ? What are you playing at the moment ? I play harp since ten years and I'm playing the Merry Go Round of Life in Howl's Moving Castle by Joe Hisaishi.
Back in Elementary/Mid school, i used to play flute, keyboard and a little guitar. Since my uncle is a music teacher my childhood was full with music instruments, even some exotic ones (like a Peruvian flute)
Yay a thread like this! I've been playing the piano for 18 years (but I'm in no way as good as Matsui Sakiko or even Ikuchan, though I wish :v) and I've been playing the guitar for 10 years, though I consider it as my main instrument. I can play bass too, and want to learn the drums. (Basically I want to do a one-man band lol)
I play the Spoiler air guitar. I'm totemo jouzu, I've been practicing since I was three. Spoiler In all seriousness, I've been learning to play guitar, but I stopped, recently
I started to play guitar since 3-4 years ago, the moment i got into this fandom. Yes, at first i learn it to be able to play akb songs in my free time.
Started on piano, but not nearly as good as I was 11 years ago; been playing guitar for about 8 years, and started bass around 2 years ago. Been trying to learn more 48Group songs for the last few months, some are surprisingly complicated!, and currently working on Shozo ga kono Boku wo Damenisuru (Maenomeri B-Side). Also now appreciating having an off vocal version of these songs, makes life so much easier
Used to play the piano and violin when I was in elementary school, but now not anymore. I'm trying to re-learn how to play the piano, but I just haven't had time recently. Maybe I should invest in learning how to play a new instrument.
I've played guitar or 14 years. and I am quite confident with drums and keyboard/piano. I am very interested in starting to learn violin right now, I really like to play YUI's songs with guitar
I have another question about teacher if you had one... I play since ten years and it's the year with a different teacher, all the substitute teachers i had for one lesson each were a bit weird. They were dancing when i was playing instead of helping me, or telling me to live the music deeply. Some music teachers are not connected with reality but my main teacher for the first nine years was really good, she lives in our world, not in some music universe... i don't know if it's clear. But my question is : did you have a weird teacher like them ?
Well, me, since elementary school, I think from 1st grade to 4th grade, I was playing the piano... Then, I shifted to playing the flute, but it only lasted for like 3 or 6 months then I stopped... A few years later, I suddenly took an interest on playing the bass guitar Then, around my 3rd year in high school, I started to play the guitar up until now, I've been playing the guitar for 5 and a half years and regarding the teacher thing... I had two teachers back in my elementary days when I was still playing the piano, but they're not that weird and I don't know the word 'weird' back then... But, now, I'm a teacher myself but not in a music school though...and my students say that I'm weird
Well... At trying piano (exhausted one... i dont know where it is even now are...)... two different kind flute ( Again, not know them fate :/)... accoustic Guitar... and... believe or not: Drum... Well... it have nice story.
From ages 7-18 I played the French Horn at school, town and county levels which involved concert tours to several other countries (technically speaking I have been an international soloist). Now I am a lot older and haven't played in many years.
Mainly: electric guitar, acoustic guitar. Also: acoustic bass guitar, blues harps. No longer: keyboards, recorder.
I'd like to learn guitar again because I forget most of my guitar lesson. Also keyboard/piano. Telecaster + delay + clean amp = sexiest sound ever!
Anyone plays Bang Dream/Bandori? Notice at Roselia, named the most skilled band. Their seiyuus make a real band of same name so it does exist IRL. I wonnder how the seiyuus learned the instrument in a pretty quick time and became experts of it.
Violin - fairly decent, around five years Trumpet - skill faded like Uemuu after years of unuse Guitar - Recently picked up, learning basic chords Piano - Same as trumpet Recorder - elementary school, hated it
