Been a while since we've had a really good documentary coming from the entire akb group in my opinion. Maybe a few showcasing individual members like Shimada, but as far as groups go I didn't particularly like Nogizaka46's doc. Based on these reviews I feel like this one could be really good!

At least they gave Harutan a chance to center. Unlike NMB where they reduce the senbatsu to 8 members yet only Sayanee gets the spotlight.

Nothing beats Boku wa Shitteru though.

Japanese movie DVD usually released 6 months after the premier. don't know about the documentary.

 

Yeah, I wouldn't count on anything before September.

And it wouldn't surprise me of they made it a pack with both NMB and HKT's documentaries together.

while i believe non of wotas will secretly record the movie since it can ruin the group itself..

Anybody has an estimate of when we would even be able to watch the documentary with English subs? Although I want to see it in any form, of course, being able to understand with the subs would be ideal... I don't suppose there is any chance of a official release with subs??

 

a content like documentary is 100% sure to be translated. If people are motivated, i would say few weeks after the DVD is released.

A subs from AKS is very unlikely.

I think the documentary will come out soon. I think it's 5-6 month after the release in theater, and it's been 4 month already. A little bit more of patience.

 

I want to watch this so badly...so maybe it will be released to DVD in July?

 

I was hoping they'll release it on DVD soon after the final screening in theaters (6/3), but they've added another screening in Okinawa (6/25-7/8)...
