    It looks like the article published yesterday by WWS was incorrect about a song release today on YouTube and as confirmed in a Tweet just now from Nao she will release 'Kagi no arika' and another song 'Moonlightparade' on 8/16:

    After graduating from the idol group "SKE48", she took on the challenge of acting as an actress, performing in a recitation drama in "The Eraser in My Head 14th Letter", in a comedy in the stage play "Ability Eleven", and as a voice actress in the TV anime "Kizuna no Allyl". Nao Furuhata will release her first solo single after graduating, "Kagi no Arika", on August 16th. This single, which also includes "Moonlight parade", which she tried to write lyrics for the first time, will start solo artist Nao Furuhata!

    ──You graduated from SKE48 on September 30, 2022. It's been about a year since then, and during that time I think I've faced many new challenges as an actress, such as comedies and voice work. What was the last year like?

    “There were many challenges, and up until now, I was living my life as an idol, Nao Furuhata, but from now on, I’m going to walk my own life in the truest sense, or rather, I’ve walked while thinking, I think it was a year that changed the way I deal with

    ──With the business card <SKE48's Nao Furuhata> gone, I think there are more opportunities to pursue responsibility, and more opportunities to choose what you want to do.

    Like you said, you can really make a lot of choices for yourself, and that's something I've never done before, so there are a lot of things to worry about when making choices. Until now,
    　I felt like I was going to choose from among the things that were given to me and move forward.Now it's more like I'm going to grab it myself.There are more options than ever before. There's a lot of it, and that's why I get scared sometimes, but no matter what I choose, no matter how I fall, I'm doing it while thinking, 'It's what I decided, so it's okay.'"

    Furuhata, who released her 2nd single “ Dying liar/ Genei” on November 29th (Wednesday) , performed her 2nd live “ Furuhata Nao LIVE2023-REAL- ” at NAGOYA ReNY limited in Aichi on February 22nd ( Friday ). She performed a total of 16 songs ( including medley songs ) .

    For the encore, she appeared in a cute Santa costume. After performing a medley of three songs : "Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Jingle Bells," and "Santa is Coming to Town ," she performed "Encore Let's Speak Out More!" and the coupling song of the first single "Kagino Zadokoro". Moonlight parade '' and enjoyed the upcoming Christmas with fans.

    Finally, Furuhata expressed her gratitude to the fans, saying, `` I will do my best to end 2023 with everyone, and not to forget everyone's warmth!'' ``I want to end 2023 with this song that I wrote the lyrics for.'' ``I think'' and performed ``Illusion'', and the 2nd live `` Furuhata Nao LIVE2023-REAL- '' came to a close.

    Nao in a movie? Good news. But... I think she really has great talents in music and stage performing. Can't the company send her to study music production? I believe she is the most talented among all the memebers. (Or at least AKB, SKE, and NMB. I don't know much about other groups). Her stage performance is far better than average idols. She has the potential to be a really good solo singer.

    The girl acted in a stage show "歌舞伎町シャーロック" in May, as a supporting role. The play seems to be a detective show based on the story of Sherlock Holmes, and Nao plays one of the detectives.

    She also showed up a few seconds in the TV show "虎に翼". [​IMG] Can't insert the link for some reason.

    She gets one of the leading roles in the stage play "ダルマ" as well, which will be released in July. I am not sure what it is about, but there are several familiar names from 48G in the show. 川本 used to be in AKB T4, right? Anyway, I hope our 48G girls all be active in the entertaining industry.

    After a long while I did an online talk with Naochan - she still blows me away.

    She remembered me, even with our previous meeting being pre-Covid-19 and was still as awesome as ever. Now I just wish a) that I’d bought more tickets b) mine and her schedules would not always conflict so I could see her on stage.

    I still think online talks suck compared to actual HS events but in this case, beggars can’t be choosers.
