The Year of Idols
You have to find all of them for yourself. Just a few: Ogiyuka at Coming of Age in January, Haruppi in June, Yuihan and others on stage in October.
You have to be paid member first ¥1000+ a month.
Will have some slight benefit if you want to come to Japan and watch theater for any group.
AKB48 along with Morning Musume '20 and Momoiro Clover Z will be appearing in an NHK girl group show called REGAZZE! which will be recorded on 2/28 at the NHK Hall in Tokyo:
There's an application page for audience tickets on the NHK website:
Coming of Age Day is a week away (Monday, January 13, 2020). Did I miss an official announcement by AKB48? Has anyone compiled a list of members eligible this year?
You did. https://ameblo.jp/akihabara48/entry-12562664059.html
I wonder if they'll invite the overseas members again
I should mention that AKB performed in the first half of the show, that usually has lower ratings, and that the ratings overall were poor this year. Really poor.
Kamachi Yukina's SR had better ratings
Only Kouhaku could have 35% rating and is still considered poor lol.
A new TV program with AKB48 started today: AKB48 Medopia chōsa-tai
"AKB48 Medopia chōsa-tai" (AKB48メドピア調査隊) is a new TV program in collaboration with AKB48, on internet TV for doctors: MedPeer channel.
It is an interractive medical program
Overview of MedPeer channel:
(Feel free to correct / provide better info)
I'm not sure it's worth creating a specific thread though
. . . That's so completely random.
But is this a bad thing? Back in their heydays, AKB was virtually on everywhere and anywhere. There was almost nothing that could not have been promoted with idols.
That AKB members can still appear on something completely unrelated like a medical counseling platform, can be interpreted as good sign.
(of course; the other, more negative interpretation is that they have been become so easy to contract, even obscure things like medpeer can hire them )
Here's another promotion (along with HKT48), this time it's for Valentine's Day with GODIVA chocolates (who are celebrating their 48th anniversary in the Japanese market):
There'll be a lottery to win tickets for mini-lives and talk shows in February in Tokyo, Saitama and Hakata (there's also a separate similar promotion in the Kansai region with NMB48).
So the target group are doctors? Apparently you can only watch this with an account, and only doctors can get one. I really don't understand this.
