So I don't know if you wanna open a new thread for it now, but BNK48s 11th 12th single will be produced (song and choreography) by AKB48 members. The MV shooting will also take place in Japan. (If Covid lets them)
The singles senbatsu will be decided by their 3rd Sousenkyo in April 2022.

Personally, I think we might wanna wait for the 11th single to be released first though The 11th single will contain voting tickets for BNK48's upcoming SSK, and then the 12th single will come after that has happened. It's probably gonna be months until we know anything new about it

 

I've arrived here after post in AKB48 Thread, because one thing is really interesting for me. What BNK48 do mean that voting system will be based on blockchain? How do they want to do it? Will they introduce to us new cryptocurrency? Blockchain without crypto is nothing Too many questions.

 

I'd never heard of this before either, but I googled it and it seems like this is an actual thing used in (political) elections. From "Blockchain Voting Australia", I got this:

I know, but when I see how good others are doing it I feel like mine would end up looking like "yep.. new single.. the 12th.."

To think that they already announced the single that will follow their upcoming single, while AKB is dead silent.. booooi

 

I guess if they announce that the 11th single will contain a voting ticket for SSK, it's usually a given that the 12th single will be underway as well.

When AKB48 used to hold elections, it was also called, for example, "49th Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo" even though they were about to release the 48th single at the time.

I'm really curious though what it'll be like to have a sister group song produced by AKB48 members...

 

Honestly don't remember. But that's due to me not really using Twitter back then, and I can't recall if I knew S48 at that time. So single announcements avoided But it makes sense, did not think about it

This may depend on how many and which members will be tasked with it. AND.. to what extend will the members actually be allowed able to put their own thoughts into the development?
Song and choreography, why not also the costumes+styling with help from professionals? AKB has quite some fashionable members who surely would be interested in taking a look how a costume is designed up to the point it's finished. Why don't they let them take this opportunity? :/

 

It's Osare's job.

 

I'm aware of it, but why not letting a small group of members taking part in the production? From scratch to finished product, and maybe allowed to bring their own 2-3 ideas up.
