At long last, we have the Stage DVD

Thur Dec 22nd, the 306th Yuuwaku no Garter was recorded to be released as Stage DVD(date TBA)
The cast was all 21 1st Gen
Extra recording equipment was installed at Donki reducing audience capacity to just 200.
It was my 67th Yuuwaku no Garter & with only 20 odd plus remaining I will never break 3 digits even if I managed to score all the tickets
It was a birthday celebratory performance. Nachu our SDN mascot was feted by the audience & fellow members in advance of her 27th

If you are really giving them a last single then do it right by them like giving Kazu( on par with Reiko in terms of vocals )her solo

viz-a-viz UGG Yaritagariya-san (the only gem in the 4th) Europop vocals & fierce dancing this is what Jpop used to be in the 80s & 90s unlike the current Kawaii phase
The other 3 PVs' production leaves a lot to be desired
UGA : paying homage to of all things from across the Sea of Japan
With Nachu in the lineup there was high expectations of another resounding Awajishima no Tamanegi
UGA turns out to be anything BUT
UGB : i do not get the 3 in-PV cutscene : Army Movie theme, Spy Movie theme, Romantic Movie theme
& NO CENTERS when Mamitan is a shoo-in. Reiko did not dominate in vocals nor Umeko in dance
Duet Enka : i hate it when the ladies act pandering demure coy
Even rehash the Onedari Champagne hostess scene & recycle the wardrobe for good measure

 

ADDENDUM to STAGE DVD

The version is 18-, for mass consumption

 

NORO LOOKS AMAZING in the black and white! THEY ALL DO. This is how they should have been marketed ALL ALONG. I could have managed this group better. Seriously, they all got massively screwed. I wish the ex-AKB girls had an option to go back into the AKB theatre if they wanted to or something. NORO *cries* I am going to miss all of these girls SO MUCH.

I hope Aki-P has a plan for at least SOME of them, is he seriously going to just let all of this talent go?!!!

They should have been called a different name. That's one thing, they should have aimed themselves at a female audience, that definitely would have sold more records, and they SHOULDN'T have had those tacky nude shots, how embarrassing for them. ;__;

PLEASE LET US HEAR NEWS THAT SOMETHING IS DONE WITH THE MEMBERS AKI-P! *clings onto hope*

 

I'm jealous, I only saw them 4 times. Too bad I won't even see them one more time...

5th single? management failed miserably in their efforts to push SDN...the 5th would probably just be anything for their last ditch efforts to squeeze out some profits from the SDN girls...for the past 4 singles...they were not given the best songs or promotions...it was the true talent and hard work of the SDN members that made those singles looked decent...

 

i hope the it's a 5th single AND album release just to emphasize how awesome they are.
as for all those talents within the group, i agree that there must be some form of continuation for the more popular girls. Wishfull thinking for a new but smaller unit?

tbh, i really find the first 3 gens are fine. they should just cut it off like that if that's the case
