[GENERAL] The SGO48 Thread

I hope SGO48 don't get restricted to just remake AKB48 songs to vietnamese. Why not let them do their own songs with concept that appeals to vietnamese audience? Audience prefer ballad to pop mixed with the rising popularity of hip hop and EDM. Even domestic groups that kinda of underrated are going that route and gain decent success 5-10 million views.

 

But if SGO48 don’t remake the AKB48’s songs, they won’t be a sister group of AKB. And talking about ballad, the 48 groups do have lots of great ballad song so why SGO need a new song? Remember, JKT take 8 years to have their first original song so an original song for SGO? Not now at least they want to lose all the AKB fan who support them because of the 48 songs and concept.

 

Yeah1 has to create a group with no tie to AKB48 then. What's the point of AKB48 license when you gonna do everything on your own?

It's true that 48 Groups will remake AKB's songs, but let's see how Vietnamese girl-groups/boy-groups did not get so much reputation since they just "copy" the style from other countries, compared to solo singers with their own style.
Anyway, I hope the concept of AKB will work in Vietnam.

yes it is 2nd single is KFC and the center is Ánh Sáng (the youngest)

 

Hopefully SGO’s KFC will blow up the way BNK’s did

AKB's and BNK's went viral, but JKT, MNL, and SNH's didn't so the odds aren't what I would prefer lol. It ultimately depends on how it's filmed.

 

JKT KFC is quite popular to the point that majority of people know the dancing moves and lyric, although not as big as how BNK did lmao. Couldn't say the same for MNL's for sure. They need more promotion if they want to popularize the song.

The costume is for 1st single, but for some reasons it was not used until now. It's not 2nd single costume.
