Kasai Tomomi (Tomo~mi) / 2nd Generation

Chiyuu plays Sailor Moon in some performances of Sailor Moon the Super Live. Her team had its opening day today. I’ll post more later but I can say she was wonderful!!! There are still tickets available but only two shows left for her team iirc. Absolutely great show!

If you'd like to hear more about the Sailor Moon show in detail, let me know, but it's essentially the first season super condensed with basically very little dialogue and a couple of songs. Since I saw the performance three times (Chiyuu's team only once), I can make some good comparisons in the shows.

Chiyuu was my favourite Moon out of the two I saw. She was very genki and bubbly. She also brought a lot of human-ness to the role, and made it very natural. (The heart team Moon seemed to stick to the script, whereas Chiyuu added in more things, like a few extra 'yadas', laughter, crying etc) Her crying was very good and her enthusiasm was infectious. She was suuuuuper cute as Sailor Moon!

Honestly, I'm not Chiyuu's biggest fan. But her album was LIT so I wanted to check this out. It was my third time seeing the show and an excellent use of money - it was my favourite performance of the three.

"I’m going to be biased and say my favourite part was when Usagi runs through the audience at the start yelling that she’s late. I currently have blue hair, so I stick out, and I was right where she runs past. When she’s running, she talks to a few audience members. She pointed at my necklace.

“Wow! That necklace is cute! How much was it?”
Me: -doing my best goldfish impression because Kasai Tomomi is ridiculously cute in person and talking to me?????-
“WOW! A million dollars?! EXPENSIVE!”

She then ran off."

So instantly I thought I got my money's worth lol

A lot of the audience, male and female, were there for her. They did seem to enjoy the show regardless of not really understanding what happened (a salary man behind me had the plot explained to him by some female fans - he was doing his best to try and understand what had happened and it was honestly really cute).

Overall, her performance was flawless except for one tiny mistake where she turned the moon rod on. However, that happened in another show as well, so I'm happy to put it down to bad design. She hit the notes perfectly, she looked the part, she brought herself into the role and did justice to a much beloved character. A great performance! Great job Chiyuu!

No need to quote yourself, she does not look any different.

 

Probably just had her front teeth straightened a bit, that's what it looks like. Kojimako is the prime example of how doing that can change the profile of someones face.

 

Thats why her lips shape kinda different.

 

Soooo...Tomomi is the new Sailor Moon in the musicals!

 

I think you're right because she only looks different when she smiles. The face seems to be the same, but the smile is different.

I thought that girl were yoshida akari from nmb.
