Since no one here has mentioned it, I assume that she didn't mention auditioning for this show?

^ The only times I hear people bother to mention auditions for specific dramas are when they're trying for those NHK dramas the likes of Taigas or asadoras. Otherwise, it's usually just audition attempts mentioned in passing, if they even feel like touching the subject of auditions.

So they just upped her into a yandere instead of tsun. Can I hope that they won't portray her as cute? Idk how I'd handle a cute and clingy Paruru. Can't wait to see her lose it when the guy goes to Kanjiya Shiori.

I was waiting for a hair change, and she delivers. She looks different, good different. Great different.

The caption under her picture in the relationship map is the name of her character, Machida Yuko - Keisuke's girlfriend.
Her character description:
"A young mistress that lives in Seijo, Tokyo. She is beautiful, and spoiled. She loves Keisuke dearly, but is possessive of him and her jealousy runs deep. She uses money to bind him to herself, and even monitors his everyday movements. With an almost stalker-ish attitude in regards to Keisuke, she is the embodiment of the insane eccentric."
That's quite the description (though 'eccentric' seems like an understatement). What I like best is that it seems to be a heel character. Let's see how well she makes herself unlikeable.

Edit:
The dog collar is for real. I thought it was only a photo for promotional purposes (you know, shock factor), but there's really gonna be a scene where she puts the collar on the guy and orders him to "Please bark like a dog."
Her comment on the role:
"When she couldn't use her money to buy the love and the heart of the guy she's after, she becomes hysterical and morphs into a stalker. That craziness of hers seems like a departure from reality to me, but hidden somewhere is a real human facet to it that is terrifying, yet intriguing. How far am I able to act something that does not reflect me at all is an unknown world that I hope to traverse along with the viewers."

Also, the writer Inui Kurumi is also the one behind Acchan's Initiation Love (which I have yet to watch) so if any of you are familiar with that one, you'd probably be able to gauge how this one is going to fare.

I think the only time I saw Paru mention an audition was that for Hiyokko (August 2016) because some fans thought she graduated because of winning the part of Yuka Makino (which she denied).

Takei Emi absent from 'end of filming' party.
It is said the start of filming was confusing because of Takai's pregnancy. Script had to be rewritten and Takai's appearances reduced.
The party was held in a Tokyo venue in the middle of December. While major casts such as Dean Fujioka and Shomotaro Mamiya entered the hall successively, Haruka Shimazaki appeared in a flashy one piece, nice to see the genius hacker Tocho Otome. However, Takei did not appear.
