Rena was in NHK World
Rena is one of the new hosts of a 5 minute show on NHK World called 'Doki Doki! NHK WORLD-JAPAN' that introduces their other programs.
It usually airs Sundays at 13:50, 18:50 and 22:50 (all times are CEST).
She previously appeared on this show as a guest (it was called 'Doki! Doki! WORLD TV' back then) and introduced a program called 'Japan Railway Journal' in which she too had an appearance.
Corresponding Twitter announcement with the JST air times:
There are some discrepancies between the times my EPG gives and the ones in the tweet. Have to double check this.
Article from Oricon about a launch event for her first short novel collection called 'Camouflage':
She posted a picture of the cover last month and copies of the book ready to ship on her instagram and instastories last week (the book was announced in January)
Her latest stage play: All the children of God dance after the quake
"The stage of Haruki Murakami's original beginning with such a mysterious depiction is performed in Yomiuri Otemachi Hall this summer. The title is "All the children of God dance after the quake". The original is a collection of short stories published by Shinchosha in 2000. It is a short editorial collection of works focusing only on the Great Hanshin Earthquake, but it is not a depiction of the earthquake itself, but the theme of what happened in the hearts of those who saw the news of the earthquake."
Modelpress article about Rena appearing at the 11th Okinawa Film Festival where she appeared with actress Hayami Akari, her co-star in a movie called 'How to Fix a Woman's Mood' which will be released on 6/15:
An old and dear friend.
"Talk a lot about each other to fill the time I haven't seen for a while, and when I'm happy I hug you and say, 'I love you! I screamed and respond even though she was shy. (You can compose lyrics or someone.)"
and rena's response
"Akane, I love you"
Also, lots of news about "How to Fix the Mood of a Woman"
I finally remembered to Tivo Doki Doki. It will be on again in 3 hours and again 4 hours after that (it is 7 AM now here in LA).

Trivia. The Japanese audio uses Matsui-san when talking about her, but the English subtitles use Rena.
W-Matsui at today's Rakuten Girls Award fashion show (Rena appears at 0:52-1:10):
This is late, but Rena was a guest star in Otona Koukou Ep 3. It's a comedy about how Japan is trying to deal with the low birth rate and lack of intimacy in Japan with the set up of a National Compulsory Program to help virgins over 30 years old. Rena plays the ex-classmate of one of the male participants (the main star) who happens to meet again due to one of the activities of this National Program. The show aired in 2017, but I searched, and it wasn't mentioned here.
