Here are five shots, in fact: the shot from the cover of the photobook; the full front cover of the photobook; two photos from last summer in Shibuya; and the shot of Techi on Center Gai in Shibuya that has been used in PR for the book:



I think the last three may have all been shot one evening last summer, when people reported seeing Techi being photographed in the area.

 

The popular and somewhat intense manga/anime Aku no Hana (Flowers of Evil) is going to be made into a film next year, and there is a completely unsubstantiated rumour that Techi will play the evil but somehow lovable girl who torments the protagonist. (She happens to see him stealing his crush's gym clothes and holds it over him to make him enter a "contract" with her.) source

That's... I somehow don't like the idea of Techi being the heroine..
I have read the manga and uh.. not really something that Techi would want to do if you see the character..
EDIT : And it's 18+ as far as I know (so Techi can't get that role) and you wouldn't want to have controversy about it..
Well who knows maybe the miracle will play its own game..

 

@MysticInstinct -- Good points. I watched a bit of the anime and dropped it, myself. But it seemed like it had quality. I thought myself that it is not a role you would want Techi associated with, especially considering what a difficult person her first role was. Type-cast in bad direction. Like I say, though: just a rumour.

 

Techi has been nominated for an award as top leading actress of the year, and the Hibiki film has been nominated as top film. The awards are sponsored by a Tokyo news publishing company, Houchi Shimbunsha, which although it belongs to Mainichi, is not part of that organization. This is not a really major awards, I don't think, but nice nevertheless. There are 17 actresses nominated, including Hirose Suzu. And there are 20 films nominated. There will be (thanks, @sscrla) has been voting by the public to establish final short-lists and the committee will select from the shortlists. source

 

I thought the voting is already close?
So techi nominated for best leading actress and newcomer, also hibiki for best picture.

 

I hope her arms recover soon.

 

Damn I feel like crying ... She seems tired idk why.

 

Reports from Best Hits are positive. She danced and expressed well, and sang live well. But she was thin.

 

Oh is it? I am glad But still.. after a long time we get to see her..

 

How did she get so thin?? What happened? Should we be worried?

 

I love the moments when she sang live and her expression was on point.

The only part that annoyed me when she doing her solo choreo on the 1st reff but she looked down.

The Other part looks fine.

I guess it's just because the angle of the camera that makes her legs thin.

By the way i'm falling in love with her neck and her eyebrows looked thicker. I love it.

 

I just love this kind of nuance of this shot.



Her situation is still a mystery rn. But after all, i wish her days full of bless and love.

If techi will graduate someday, do you think she will pursue her career in entertainment world? Or not?

She will surely graduate at some point, even if I don't want her to. She will probably continue as an actress, Hibiki is the starting point.
