Didn't expect Soundscan figure to pass previous single. This means the theatre sales is just about the same as before. Very balanced sales between each versions.
Exact 1st week for Oricon: 277,534

It's part of HKT's 2nd part of the Kyushu Tour and current National Tour setlist

I have no idea why people keep on pointing at iTunes. Recochoku holds 70% of the Japanese digital market per their press releases, and Hikaeme hasn't charted at all for the entire week.

Oh I'm terribly sorry, thanks for sharing though. Maybe next time you could try without the passive aggressive comment

Not sure if your definition of "hasn't charted at all for entire week" means it's not in the top few, or simply means it's not there. But anyways it did start at a decent position, but is now #24 on the daily charts as of the latest ranking. It's the usual anyways, I don't recall HKT performing well in Recochoku in the past.

this is already a pleasant surprise for me... I thought it might be around 70K or even worse. Looks like the theater edition sale wasn't as good as we thought after the HS stats come out.

They actually started charting again on Reco. I think its now #17?

Edit: I stand corrected, Recochoku is showing Hikaeme at #8 for the week

Uh.. so what is it that you stand corrected? So the weekly chart came out. They were only available for download last week.

That it didn't do well on Reco? #8 is pretty decent, especially for an idol group.

Lmao HKT was nevera digital seller so don't expect them to have longetivity in the digital charts.

Coming out from lurker status to just point out that people want those photocards and tickets in the physical copies so it's pretty simple to see why digital doesn't do well...

Just because YOU don't care about the songs doesn't mean no-one else does. People want added value and there's nothing wrong with wanting more value for what you are paying.

Also, as a general point I find it rather amusing this notion that just because something is digital that it is somehow superior to physical. With CDs they can be ripped and put on digital media players anyway so a person can have the best of both worlds.

Also King Records have been released some of Stardust Promotions acts on vinyl, a format superior both to mp3 and CD, I wish they'd follow suit with AKB releases.
