Single HKT48 7th [74 Okubun no 1 no Kimi e] (2016/04/13)

Aki-P pulls out some truly random stuff sometimes for lyrics. He references other singers that Acchan likes in her songs all the time - ie. Taylor Swift (kiss wa 100mile), Avril Lavigne (brunch wa blueberry). Yo-yo ma got a reference in SKE's Zakuro no mi. There are tons of others but basically he can write whatever he wants about whoever he wants lol.

It doesn't really surprise me much anymore...

 

LOL at the Glee reference...As someone who watched every episode and relatively enjoyed the series I never thought in J-pop she would be referenced. But it does seem like Beauty + Brains type of thing (which is interesting itself cause of who they picked? I look forward to the lyrics lol).

Sad there are no Team songs, but I guess there's not much u can do. I'll highly get Type A cause that duet sounds interesting. But MeruMio + NakoMiku also sounds interesting lol.

I guess we don't know who is in Platinum Girls yet, but I hope it's not the senbatsu girls. Since there are no team songs some girls are missing out (also, they need to stop adding random units lol).

I'm waiting on a full, real preview. Didn't think it was worth arguing with proxys to get past YouTube block just to hear a snippet from a CM hehe. So, I'm looking forward to it.

Ayyyy Meru is in a good position again! And Hana SLAYS in her second row, just-behind-Haruppi spot. So happy to see her there.

 

I love Diana Agron haha this is hilarious. And I love this song, it's so sweet We never had a 48G wedding song (unless we count Ai no Moufu which was performed in wedding dresses, but the lyrics weren't properly about that) I'm getting married soon so that might be why I like this so much The lyrics are so cute!

Anyway, I'm glad HKT keeps getting strong singles because I haven't been feeling AKB and SKE's music lately. Haruppi is amazing I also like how the outfits aren't wedding dresses, it's kind of an unexpected twist, and I also like that this isn't a ballad. The covers remind me of Kalafina's Storia and Hikari no Senritsu singles with the folksy vibe.

Can't wait to hear the B-sides!

I think the HKT song is much better, though.

 

Oh yeah. That song was really dull though so I forgot about it completely. Idol ballads are pretty hit or miss and while the girls looked lovely the PV was also a bit boring.

 

I like Kimi ni Wedding Dress wo better. It's beautiful and I love the song. While 74 Okubun no 1 no Kimi e is more upbeat and fun, and I have to give it another listen to decide whether I like it or not. But one thing I'm certain, I don't like the chorus.

 

I'm pretty sute thw song will grow on me cause i'm not really feeling it right now, but the outfits? :/
