Is it accurate to say that Hii is the busiest member of AKB right now?

 

It depends. Rehearsals for a theatre stage and shootings for a drama are equally work, but one is invisible while the other one is glamorous. Is she more busy than Okabe, for instance? After all, no one guessed that Okada had enough free time for other activities.

It's hard to fully say but I'd think she's definitely among the top. From what I can see, she's the most booked in variety shows, although there are a couple of members (Yuiyui, Yukirin, Erii) who appear on variety quite a bit (plus 17ki have their own shows, so definitely busy as well); then there's members who have been getting booked for dramas quite a bit (Hiichan and Yuiyui) and a bunch of members who appear in stage plays, which I find difficult to keep up with as you can't really see them outside of Japan.

I've been following Tano Yuka's career outside of AKB and based on her tweets, it seems like rehearsals for stage plays last quite a long time: weeks, if not months, just for a week's worth of performances. Compared to dramas or movies, you only get one chance so you really have to remember everything perfectly. You don't see how busy they are because it's all back stage.

And then there are members who get to appear in magazines quite regularly. Also more difficult to keep track of because they're out and then you kinda forget about it unless you buy it.

I think it's impossible to give a 100% definitive answer, but I'd say it's safe to say she's one of the busiest members for sure.
