Hopes, Fears, and Predictions for 2019

Why would you hope for that TT

 

This sounds selfish, but I just personally hate J, that's why Putting reasons here will make matters worse, so I won't write anything else

was the important things only those prestige and money contest ?

hope : get rid all the bbas and deadwood + massive pushes lot of new girls , at least let them reach casual knowledge

prediction : same staple different years , yahagi moeka rocketing while the rest kept being unknown

So, back to hopes, fears, and prediction?

 

My personal hopes:

• Mii-chan, Naachan and Mako come back to AKBingo as regulars (or at least as much as Yukirin).
• More members from 16th Gen and 3rd draft Gen coming to AKBingo.
• More screentime for Utada Hatsuka.
• Similiar to the Dodgeball episodes last year resurrect Shogi or Battle Burger Shop for a couple of episodes.
• Hope to see some episodes where afterwards people on the internet complain "Muramoto was too cruel to member X". That usually means he totally nailed it.

 

Yes, he's basically the main host with Paradise acting as support and nice guy (most of the time, sometimes they actually switch roles). Muramoto's stage persona is that of a bully, but imho he has great chemistry with the girls and I think they all like him. Even before Woman Rush Hour took over as the hosts of AKBingo the show was drifting more into talk segements and less games and Muramoto is really good when it comes to talking. He's very funny and he knows how to draw out the best of each member.
For example STU's Yabushita Fu has been to AKBingo only one time last year for the Lucky Girl Ranking and related episodes, yet I am pretty sure if you didn't know her before you totally would after seeing her interactions with Muramoto.
Some people were indeed complaining about it, but I think it was only positive for her. Also this kind of stuff is either agreed on beforehand or they talk and laugh about it later. It's still showbiz.

And generally I now really like all of the new members because of AKBingo.

Last time Miichan was present was the first three episodes with WRH as new hosts. Personally I didn't had the feeling she was salty or anything like that. Of course the show is mostly for newer members, but with the exception of Miichan everyone of the older generations had several appearances, so maybe she has some personal problems with the hosts or maybe is not interested to come back anymore.

 

My dislike towards J is just a matter of personal opinion. I've never met her in person, but there are a few things about J that I don't find pleasant

 

I'm gonna write my hopes for the sister groups too if that's okay?

Hopes:

• Moeka in senbatsu + good rank
  
• Neru centers a Keyakizaka single
• Hiratechi recovers fully
• Better music (it's been so 'meh' lately)
• More appreciation for NMB
• Unpopular opinion, but I wish the groups could be slightly more segregated this year. AKB members for AKB singles only

Fears:

• K-pop/P48 has too much influence over AKB. No Way Man was ok but really different from their usual singles in terms of everything and I believe it's because P48 made them try to challenge themselves more. I just want the "real" AKB to shine, the AKB where the girls might not be professionals at singing and dancing but where charisma and charm plays a bigger part. Does this make sense?

As far as I know, Mitsu Dan does fully nude stuff and has made softcore porn. Good luck wishing for Miru to start doing that in the near future. Well, at least you’re honest..

 

Wise hope that members who haven't been verified will be verified on Twitter. Why aren't they verified? So it's true that there's a conflict between AKS & Japanese Twitter?

 

Like Nako & Miku Twitter accounts are suspended for no reasons in late 2017?

 

Hopes:

• AKB48 can win again at least one of it's voting event
• Old gen (1 to 10) leave, for the group's sake
  
• Moeka ranks high in SSK
• Ikumin promotes the charms of Shimane
• A red wire event for eitos that is not disrupted by the sousenkyo
• Ikumin ranks (top 80 preferably)
• More eitos ranks
• Eito kun wins RH
• Stages
• Public hit songs like 365 nichi
• Acting competition return
• More concerts
• Better singles than in 2018 (shouldn't be hard)
• Discography available on legal download and streaming platforms for oversea fans
• Concerts out of Asia
• Easier way for oversea fans to buy theater CDs
• More collabs with oversea sister groups

Fears:

• Nothing changes
• Eito 2nd in RH again
• Scandals (oops hapening right now)
• Mass exodus
• Another bad surprise from Korea (Sorry, still salty about the exclusive contract revealed at the last second)
• Still the same stages being replayed (come on these songs are so 10 years ago)
• Eito keeps droping like flies

Predictions:

• Jurina wins SSK
• Alina wins RH
• less than 46 eito all the year.
