Today I finally had my online talk with Chaeryeong. The talk was a lottery prize from a purchase of the group's last Japanese release 'IT'z ITZY' late last year but it got delayed twice due to Covid among group members. Finally though the talk slot appeared in my WithLIVE app with Chaeryeong just ahead of my talk with Komiharu from AKB48 scheduled for next week.



However the slot was only 10 seconds long and it really wasn't long enough at all. Chaeryeong was understandably surprised to see a non-Japanese person, she said "Hello" in English and I replied (in English) "Hi, I'm an ITZY fan from England". She said "Really???" and with already just 3 seconds left I quickly said "I hope you can perform in London soon". And that was it! Still it was nice to have the brief talk and she's the second Lee sister I've met online as I had a talk with Chaeyeon about 18 months ago in the IZ*ONE online talks.
