I’ll be honest - I don’t like Panorama. Musically and stylistically too much like the last 4 Korean title tracks. They hand picked the members for that concept I understand but it kills me because they could be so much better. I really enjoyed Sequence. I thought it was a refreshing change and gave them a chance to explore something new. I haven’t listened to the other songs.

I did like how we saw more Nako and Hiichan this comeback. I agree Sakura is really getting pushed back in this one but it is what it is. She can’t be 2nd center for every release. I’m sure we will see plenty of her for the last Japanese release and then she’ll be around a lot as they wrap up activities and even after. I could see her getting a coMC gig like Mayu did with Utage!.

This whole movie inspired comeback arch that they are doing makes me curious what they will do for the final comeback. If it’s going to be a goodbye ballad or if they are going to go with the same as the others and just have a digital release like Downpour was for IOI. Did they ever release their documentary? If not wonder if they will somehow re-edit that and have it play into their final release. I mean obviously they couldn’t keep the competing to accomplish their dreams and the people producer national group idea that the original seemed to suggest but I think they could do something. After all they will make an impact in the future for all the sales goals they accomplished if not for their music. I think it would be nice for them to document them for people who find them after the disbandment. If for no other reason then it would be a shame for them only to be remembered for formed from a rigged show. Anyway I’ll stop because it’s getting away from this release and I don’t want to get too off topic.

Wow what a cool stage. I like how they used the normal office type room but just added those few reflective back pieces and the lighting. Also their outfits are awesome! Sakura super stood out! Those who say red and pink clash haven’t seen it done like that. Also I want her sweater!

 

I don't dislike Panorama, but I agree that it sounds a lot like their previous stuff. I like Sequence, it's a bit like Highlight which was a cool song, but my favourite by far is O Sole Mio. I remember for Beware, I thought Yuri's vocals just sounded thrown into the mix for the sake of it and I hated it, but O Sole Mio really brings out her voice.

Island and Slow Journey are quite solid b-sides in my opinion but they don't compare to O Sole Mio. Mise-en-Scène isn't bad either, it's a typical intro song I guess.

 

I like Panorama and the other songs of the album but the only track I really enjoy listening to is O Sole Mio. It reminds me of Rumor which is my favourite song from PD48 - and on checking the Wiki I see that both songs have the same writing team! (SCORE, Megatone, EDEN)

 

So only I who like Panorama although it's Fiesta 2.0 (but I'm Fiesta's #1 fan so ). And O Sole Mio is my least favorite track -maybe it's preference thingy

I must say, I wasn't fond of the album at all. Panorama is nice, but a a very rushed Fiesta. O Sole Mio is basically a rearranged Rumor. Then we have that ballad we have on every album. And that girly song we have on every album.
And then, yesterday, I played the album on repeat while cleaning ... and it is actually put together very well! It doesn't get boring even after having in on repeat for half an hour, the songs are in a good order for that purpose and every song is needed to keep it entertaining. I didn't skip a single song, which I usually do, because there is always that one song, I really can't stand. So yeah. Listen to it while cleaning. It's an eye-opener.

That's an interesting ranking. Mine is like

O Sole Mio > Mise-en-Scène > Sequence > Panorama > Slow Journey > Island

That being said, I still love Island. I don't think there's a single song on the album that I dislike, even if I've slandered Panorama
