Single JKT48 19th [Everyday, Kachuusha/UZA] (2018/07/07)

I actually thought in the beginning that the lyrics is just uza uza uza and more uza and then some incomprehensible words. tbh, I didn't like it at first because I liked songs that... the lyrics are recognizable and it flows nicely and not choppy (?), but then again as I got used to it and more jpop songs, it get easier to enjoy. I love it now. I imagine if JKT's version is going to have a good lyrics (translation) and fitting to the song, it might just work to grab people's attention, alongside with good presentation of the song, fitting costume for a heavy dance song and proper expression accompanying the dance. Oh, JOT has to market well, get the girls a lot of performances and publicize widely. I think UZA has the potential.

 

I kind of want to see JKT going full cool concept on UZA. Like, no mini skirt, no idol-ish uniform. Even long pants can be attractive if done right (like NMB's Yokuboumono and Keya's Garasu). I think it would also help gain more female fans, if they can execute the concept nicel y.
And THEN you can use the usual cute idol uniform for Ebikachu. But what if they took inspiration from Indo's navy and turn it into semi-cool-cute uniform lol. It would be really cool if they could do it

If so, then it's a meh from me. Now I get this forebodding feeling that they'll just use plain white shirt and black skirt for UZA... hahaha ORZ

Btw, gotta love the contrast those uniform provide with the warung background lol

But I am excitd for the beach scene!!! I hope there's another uniform coming :s

I have been waiting for JKT to cover Uza for a very long time now and I am crossing fingers for an English translation. It was a favorite of mine for a while now, so, finally having them cover Uza makes me super happy and I am a casual JKT International fan.

 

Yeah since Kimi wa Melody didn't get english ver....I hope that was one time thing...

The english translation would be hard to match the melody tho'? "You're a melody"? kind of awkward to sing

 

Well if you say "You are a melody/You are my melody" it doesn't sounds too weird
