Correct, though I do wish they'd put more releases into the blu format for the high def treatment!!
Anyway, checking between this and the upcoming A-Nation dvd set that's coming out as well, I'll definitely plump for this. Just need to find something else to order this with

Saw this listed, only really wanted the swag so went to find the thread to see whether it was worth it.

I should really pay more attention to concerts because this one sounded epic! [rock] I'm totally buying this now (for the actual concert as well as the swag).

Now just to figure out whether to put with my TGS and SDN albums or with the Momoclo Chirstmas show in April? Hmmmm...

Well I've ordered this. Even though I cannot watch on my TV (only my region free computer) so it's not much different from watching the G+ rip... It's important to me because this is one of the only good things that happened on my 18th birthday, and it was also the first AKB concert I'd seen. And hey, 20 page booklet and 3 photos, that's always awesome. XD (So much better than MoMusu, I just bought their latest concert DVD and it comes with NO booklet... XD Gotta love AKB. lol)

Of course I'm gonna be screwed as hell, again, when my mom finds out I've spent MORE money, but... THIS IS IMPORTANT TO ME SO I BOUGHT IT. XD

The second half is pretty much all Yukirin-standing-around-looking-pretty-the-whole-time anyway, so yeah. =P

Maybe they'll mix the camera angles or something... They might improve the sound quality or something too... I dunno, DVDs come out months later because editing and stuff has to be done, right? (Otherwise they'd just release next-day or something. XD)

I know the feeling, my dad says the same, but when he saw some parts of the concert and photos and such... he changed his mind

I think the quality is very good, I have the seibu dome set and it looks like HQ (well at least to my eyes), and the sound its on a very good quality.
I am looking forward to it, but I just spent all my money from gifts in christmas for the seibu dome concert and some other CD's, oh well... I will look for a part time job on weekends or something :music:

It can only be better ! As far as i remember the youtube and Google+ footage is kinda bad.set The camera work is kinda meh from time to time. Same went for the last best 100 day.

I've now watched my DVDs (well, not the final long MC or the bonuses) but there are a couple of points to draw to your attention:

1. The camera angles are different to those from the livestream.
(Sometimes, this makes things worse, for example, by favourite bits of the livestream were watching Sasshi dancing and wota-ing along in the background, but they've cut most of this out)

2. They have overdubbed most of the songs which had bad live singing: Acchan, Tomochin, Sakippe/Yui.


I should make some proper thoughts on this DVD release later. Firstly, the colours pop very nicely, its still disappointing that they don't do Bluray releases, as the resolution is lower than when watching TV performances. Also, sometimes the blacks aren't done very well, however I can understand this is hard to do in a concert environment. They have got rid of all the funny shots of camera cranes etc which plagued the livestream.
