He released a book about jpop a year or two ago, his top 100. It's pretty interesting who is on the list, Perfume, v-u-den, Matsuura Aya all made it... he's a total wota
oh i didnt know that, haha whou would have thought that this dude likes jpop since he was part of one of the biggest trash metal bands of all time lol but indeed hes a great guitar player
I think what he likes about jpop, especially about idol music, is the way it's written, the music is so different to western-style music. When I get home I'll look up where I read an interview with him.
