I wonder if what I saw tonight is just me being caught up in the moment, but I feel like this is one of the biggest and most emotional graduation ceremonies Nogizaka46 has ever experienced? Perhaps not in terms of ticket sales or tears shed, but in terms of future impact, and the direction their corporate strategy takes them. I couldn't tell who the businessman was with the rice that left a pre-recorded message, but there seemed like several "Firsts" took place over the course of the last few days. Most obvious was the participation of the graduates Karin and Kotoko, as well as Kana-san. In Kana's case, I wouldn't be surprised if that came about as a chance for Sayuri to give her close friend a final stage appearance that she was denied because of Covid.

Certainly someone had to sell the appearance of the graduates to corporate, and knowing Sayuri-san's fierce sense of loyalty to those she loves, and her known track record of marketable creativity, I could see her pitching the idea in a very convincing manner in the boardroom. I also don't think it was coincidence that they showed a short clip of her Yumemi character in Kakegurui; her performance in the franchise, combined with the first/second season being distributed in the USA last year, introduced millions as a gateway into Nogizaka46, and I am sure corporate knows this.

With the ten year anniversary coming up, as well as Himeka Nakamoto's book being published after her being absent from the public eye almost four years, I am thinking that all these coincidences may lead to a renewed public interest into the unique story of these young women and their (sometimes painful) road to where they are in life today. And, I think taking the lead on something like this would suit Matsumura-san just fine, if she hasn't thought of it already. I've often thought that if they ever write a book about Nogizaka's history and success, that at least a chapter should be dedicated to Sayuri-san; it looks very much like the resources for that chapter may still be created even after her graduation. I hope so!

Today cookpad is the best, very cute and fun with macchu, she even tried to sell ringo water to manattan . Cant wait to watch tomorrow nama no aidoru and ann.

 

She end both work today cheerfully , i think next week imadoki is her last work as nogi right?

I just finished watching the latest Nogichuu episode on their official YouTube channel and I just couldn't hold back my tears by the end of it . She's so precious .
I wish her the best of luck in her future projects.

 

We're gonna miss her a lot. Her and every aspect of her personality.

I hope there will be many, and that she'll be able to do them with the same joy she has in Nogizaka.

Just finished watching first episode of Promise Cinderella drama in which Ringo has a minor role in. Was okay. Ringo should have more screen time next episode.

 

And here we have a TBS drama in a good time slot starting on the week after (or week of?) final activities sharing screen with Rena no less. I guess now we have at least a little more of an idea what she's planning to do

 

Thats a short sr,she is wearing synchronicity uniform for her last sr as nogi. She talked about the nogidoko days ,past live and ofc karaage shimai.
Lets support her in the future, i hope there is eng sub soon for the drama.

Looking that up, I see there is a spin-off series: Cinderella Complex (2021) - MyDramaList where she is the main roll. It doesn't say how many episodes there will be.
