Kato Rena is casted in the film adaptation of the romance-comedy light novel by Akagi Hirotaka titled “Nidome no Natsu, Nidoto Aenai Kimi” ( 二度めの夏、二度と会えない君). Also called "Nidonatsu", other casts include Murakami Nijiro as the male lead, with Mana Kinjo, Kato Rena, Yuki Yamada, Akiko Kikuchi, and Manami Honjo completing the main cast.
