I think soundscan results are much better than usual tho.

 

@mysoshipinups In terms of Soundscan, only DLB which is of course Nana's graduation single, and Bokura no Eureka (NMB's highest selling single) has sold more than 100k.
Otherwise, soundscan wise, this at 87k has exceeded every single NMB release if I'm not mistaken with the exception of Kitagawa Kenji which sold 89k for Soundscan. NMB's usual average is around 80k I think, and even Rashikunai for example sold only like 75k.

They also managed to chart in at no. 1 at Billboard Japan (though Durian Shounen had overall better sales at Oricon, it only managed to come in no. 2 in Billboard)

So big congratulations to them.
May not have been super spectacular results but it does look like they did manage to generate enough interest like they wanted to in terms of reaching a wider audience.

I think the DVD contents are really helpful for soundscan sales~~ they should invest more (the 48 groups) than putting just music videos (but I don't really mind either way)

 

Hope the sales pick up next week but still a good first week for NMB,,
Still bummed that they never made Ibiza Girl as a proper single last year.

I just watched all PVs and I must say Team BII wins the award for most "lulz in a 48G pv" of the year!
The looks that the girls made should be preserved in gifs!!

Also, this shot from the Team N PV really reminds me of Kalafina lol

 

BII's MV is so funny tho~ I love it. Kanako's faces were the best~

absolutely love love LOVE this single!! sayanee looks HOT in the pv, and the dancing is so on point, so tight, in sync, the cheoreog is great and the song is sooo addictive! i just wish the other members got a bit more attention. feel that its quite a shame that they are such great dancers but sayanee is getting all the air time. even though i love sayanee, i'd love to get to know the other members more

Just announced, NMB will be performing Must Be Now on next week's episode of Music Station!!
It has been more than a month since the release of the single, so I wasn't expecting it!!
